Season 6 Episode Guide



Episode 1: The Impossible Astronaut (1)
The Doctor and his companions find themselves on a secret summons that takes them the desert in Utah, right to the Oval Office in 1969. With the help of Canton Everett Delaware III, they must help President Nixon who's taking calls from a little girl afraid of a monster.

Episode 2: Day Of The Moon (2)
Locked in the perfect prison, the Doctor must mount a revolution to drive out the enemy and rescue the missing little girl. Meanwhile, Amy, Rory and River Song are being hunted down across America by the FBI. With the help of new friend and FBI-insider, Canton Everett Delaware the Third, our heroes are reunited to share their discoveries, if not their memories. For the world is occupied by an alien force who controls humanity through post-hypnotic suggestion and no one can be trusted.

Episode 3: The Curse of the Black Spot
Doctor answers a distress signal and materializes aboard a becalmed 17th-century pirate ship. A mysterious sea creature, the Siren, stalks any injured crew, picking them off one by one. When Rory is scratched, he becomes the creature's next victim. Meanwhile, the TARDIS departs on its own, leaving the Doctor and Amy stranded with the implacable Captain Avery, whose desire for treasure may prove his undoing.

Episode 4: The Doctor's Wife
A distress signal from an old friend brings the Doctor to a junkyard planet in a bubble universe. A family consisting of Auntie, Uncle Nephew greet the Doctor and their companions, but it is the fourth resident, the seemingly insane Idris, who tries to warn them anyway.

Episode 5: The Rebel Flesh (1)
The TARDIS arrives in Earth's future at a factory where human doppelgangers, "Gangers," are used as manual labourers. A solar tsunami frees the Gangers, and the original people they are based on must decide whether to accept their counterparts or eliminate them.

Episode 6: The Almost People (2)
The Jennifer Ganger and her fellows seek revenge on their human counterparts, and stage a revolution against their enemy. The Doctor tries to negotiate a truce between the two sides, a situation complicated by the fact that a Ganger of himself now exists.

Episode 7: A Good Man Goes To War (1)
When Amy is kidnapped as bait in a trap, the Doctor declares war on those responsible and assembles an army of allies to recover her. Meanwhile, River realizes that the Doctor's darkest hour has come and she must reveal her greatest secret to the Time Lord.

Episode 8: Let's Kill Hitler (2)
The TARDIS crashlands in Berlin in the 1930s and the Doctor suffers the ultimate betrayal while facing the greatest war criminal of all time.

Episode 9: Night Terrors
A little boy named George sends a distress signal to the Doctor when he discovers that monsters live in his bedroom cupboard.

Episode 10: The Girl Who Waited
The TARDIS brings its crew to a quarantine facility for victims of an alien plague. When Amy is trapped, Rory must rescue her from the facility's doctors but learns something surprising about his wife.

Episode 11: The God Complex
The TARDIS arrives at a complex of ever-changing rooms where each guest must face their greatest fear.

Episode 12: Closing Time
As the Doctor prepares for his inevitable death at Lake Silencio, he visits a former roommate and learns that the Cybermen are responsible for a series of disappearances at a local department store and resolves to investigate.

Episode 13: The Wedding of River Song
The Doctor arrives at Lake Silencio in Utah because he needs to keep the universe safe - by going to his own death.

Season 7 Episode Guide



Episode 1: Asylum of the Daleks
Kidnapped by his oldest foe, the Doctor is forced on an impossible mission – to a place even the Daleks are too terrified to enter… the Asylum. A planetary prison confining the most terrifying and insane of their kind, the Doctor and the Ponds must find an escape route. But with Amy and Rory‘s relationship in meltdown, and an army of mad Daleks closing in, it is up to the Doctor to save their lives, as well as the Pond’s marriage.

Episode 2: Dinosaurs On a Spaceship
An unmanned spaceship hurtles towards certain destruction – unless the Doctor can save it, and its impossible cargo… of dinosaurs!
By his side a ragtag gang of adventurers; a big game hunter, an Egyptian Queen and a surprised member of the Pond family. But little does the Doctor know there is someone else onboard who will stop at nothing to keep hold of his precious, prehistoric cargo.

Episode 3: A Town Called Mercy
The Doctor gets a Stetson (and a gun!), and finds himself the reluctant Sheriff of a Western town under siege by a relentless cyborg, who goes by the name of, the Gunslinger. But who is he and what does he want? The answer seems to lie with the mysterious, Kahler-Jex, an alien doctor (yes another one!) whose initial appearance is hiding a dark secret.

Episode 4: The Power of Three
The Doctor and the Ponds puzzle an unlikely invasion of Earth, as millions of sinister black cubes arrive overnight, almost like presents falling from the sky. But what are they, what’s inside them and most importantly, who sent them? With the international community at a loss, it’s left to the Doctor to unearth who is behind the mystery.

Episode 5: The Angels Take Manhattan
The Doctor‘s heart-breaking farewell to Amy and Rory — a race against time through the streets of Manhattan, as New York’s statues come to life around them… With Rory’s life in danger, the Doctor and Amy must locate him before it’s too late! Luckily, an old friend helps them and guides the way…

Episode 6: The Bells of Saint John
The Doctor’s search for Clara Oswald brings him to modern day London, where wifi is everywhere. Humanity lives in a wifi soup, but something dangerous is lurking in the signals, picking off minds and imprisoning them. As Clara becomes the target of this insidious menace, the Doctor races to save her and the world from an ancient enemy.

Episode 7: The Rings of Akhaten
Clara wants to see something awesome, so the Doctor whisks her off to the inhabited rings of the planet Akhaten, where the Festival of Offerings is in full swing. Clara meets the young Queen of Years as the pilgrims and natives ready for the ceremony. But something is stirring in the pyramid, and a sacrifice will be demanded.

Episode 8: Cold War
The Doctor and Clara land on a damaged Russian Submarine in 1983 as it spirals out of control into the ocean depths. An alien creature is loose on board, having escaped from a block of Arctic ice. With tempers flaring and a cargo of nuclear weapons on board, it’s not just the crew but the whole of humanity at stake!

Episode 9: Hide
Clara and the Doctor arrive at Caliburn House, a haunted mansion sat alone on a desolate moor. Within its walls, a ghost hunting Professor and a gifted psychic are searching for the Witch of the Well. Her apparition appears throughout the history of the building, but is she really a ghost? And what is chasing her?

Episode 10: Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS
A spaceship salvage team drags the TARDIS on board, sending its systems into meltdown. As the Doctor marshals the motely salvage crew outside, he realizes Clara is still trapped within his malfunctioning ship, pursued by a dangerous group of ossified monsters. He has just 30 minutes to find Clara and save his TARDIS before it self-destructs.

Episode 11: The Crimson Horror
There’s something very odd about Mrs Gillyflower’s Sweetville mill, with its perfectly clean streets and beautiful people. There’s something even stranger about the bodies washing up in the river, all bright red and waxy. When the Doctor and Clara go missing, it’s up to Vastra, Jenny and Strax to rescue them before they too fall victim to the Crimson Horror!

Episode 12: Nightmare in Silver
Hedgewick’s World of Wonders was once the greatest theme park in the galaxy, but it’s now the dilapidated home to a shabby showman, a chess-playing dwarf and a dysfunctional army platoon.
When the Doctor, Clara, Artie and Angie arrive, the last thing they expect is the re-emergence of one of the Doctor’s oldest foes. The Cybermen are back!

Episode 13: The Name of the Doctor
Clara is summoned to an impossible conference call, alerting her that the deadly Whisper Men are closing in on Vastra, Jenny and Strax.
Someone is kidnapping the Doctor’s friends, leading him toward the one place in all of time and space that he should never go. It’s a deadly trap that threatens to unravel his past, present and future…

Season 8 Episode Guide

In the near future, the Doctor and Clara find themselves on a space shuttle making a suicide mission to the moon. Crash-landing on the lunar surface, they find a mining base full of corpses, vicious spider-like creatures poised to attack, and a terrible dilemma.
