I take offense at that.   My cat(s), I actually have 2, do not have fleas.

Actually, I only have one cat.  Her name is Maisie.  The other cat, Marley (as in Bob), is Maisie's cat.

I think I'll move them both in, since you're so amenable.

They both eat dry food, so no worries about opening tins.  I clean up after both of them, but she grooms him & plays with him.  

Honestly, I got him when I was helping to care for my Gran when she was dying.  Maisie was lonely with me gone so much, so I got her a companion.  She hated him at first, she's not the friendliest wee beastie, but they're great chums now.

ACTUALLY, it is from the stage play & movie, "South Pacific".
The original musical opened on Broadway in 1949...4 years AFTER WWII.  
The film version was first released in 1958, and a TV production aired in 2001.

I'm a bit like permanent dye...rather hard to wash out.  You just have to wait until I completely grow out, and that could take years!

Luckily, as a lovely lady, I don't have to worry about losing my hair as I go anywhere!
It gets thicker and more gorgeous with each passing year, while I get thinner and more gorgeous with each passing year.

Aww, Gary, you just can't stay away, can you?  Tell you what, sometime soon (no definite plans yet) I'll be away and offline.  You can have the place to yourself while I'm away.  Until then, you'll just have to "man up" and put up with this wonderful, kind, cheerful lady stopping by to wind you up on a daily basis.
