What browser are you using? I find that in Chrome, the loading bar doesn't look like anything has loaded, even when it has, but in Firefox I can see how much has loaded. I can't see how much is loaded when using the mobile site either. I generally start an episode then pause it for a few minutes prior to watching. That usually is enough to avoid pauses due to buffering, but not always. Certain times of day seem to be slower - but that would be on my end.
