The Night Shift Premieres on NBC on May 27, 2014

Welcome to the night shift, where every day is a fight between the heroic efforts to save lives and the hard truths of running a hospital. At San Antonio Memorial, the men and women who work the wee hours are a special breed, particularly adrenaline junkie T.C. Callahan (Eoin Macken, "Merlin"). After a grueling tour of duty in the Middle East, T.C. is about to learn that his toughest battles will be fought right at home. He and his irreverent team of late-night docs, including Topher (Ken Leung, "Lost") and Drew (Brendan Fehr, "Roswell"), know how to let off steam with the casual prank or two, but when lives are at stake they are all business. Unfortunately, the night shift is now under new management and boss Michael Ragosa (Freddy Rodriguez, "Six Feet Under") is more interested in cutting costs than helping people. But T.C. has never met a rule he couldn't break or a person he won't stand up to. And it's clear that not even Dr. Jordan Alexander (Jill Flint, "The Good Wife"), T.C.'s ex-girlfriend and now Ragosa's second-in-command, has a chance at keeping him in line. If Ragosa wants a war, he'll get one.

Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah ("Diary of a Wimpy Kid," "Freaks and Geeks") and Pierre Morel ("Taken") serve as executive producers. "The Night Shift" is a production of Sony Pictures Television.

Nice work in recycling the victims own blood to save his life but T.C. punching Michael was stupid as he should of lost his job and it's sad to think money is more important than saving lives but Michael's idea to save the boys spinal injury was surprising and removing the morphine button from the drunk driver was great

So much for the woman with the severally sprained ankle and not wanting to get out of the ambulance and the kid with split personality was surprising as it looked like he was abused, no wonder the groom had a beard with those tattoos underneath

The lengths the little girl went to for her father to get help was impressive and drugging the one sister to save the other after she refused because she went on a hog hunt with her husband was surprising

Michael should of known better than to take somebody else medicine but him being high was amusing and Jordan ignoring the Christian scientists medical bracelet was asking for trouble, Drew was impressive when helping the soldier who had been severely wounded

TC and Scott helping the mother was great but the son hiding was lucky because if his mother had fainted they would of never of found him and Topher going out in the storm to help his wife and leaving the hospital short staffed was understandable, Landry being harassed by her father for money was sickening as it also put her mother in danger

What a coming home for Drew's boyfriend to survive a tour in Afghanistan only to loose his leg on his return and the other solider dying after getting a date with the doctor was tragic

Who would of thought TC and Topher helping the only survivor of a plane crash would end up being held hostage but Topher fighting for his life was a surprising cliffhanger

Jordan having to treat the guy who held her hostage after killing Dwayne and shooting Topher was sickening but other than making him suffer the pain I don't think she was responsible for him dying, you have to feel sorry for TC and his attempts to control his Afghanistan flashbacks

Ragosa new lease on life after surviving cancer was amusing but resigning by the end of the episode was surprising and two freak accident in one shift was bizarre but the husband unable to talk English different

The rancher accidentally shoots his own wife was sad but TC struggling to come to terms with her loss was a little surprising as he must of lost other patients and beauty queen not telling the whole story could of been fatal as they had no idea why their treatment was only making her worse
