Written by Jeremy Garelick and Jon Weinbach, sports comedy "The Rebels" follows Julie Levine (Natalie Zea) after her husband suddenly dies and leaves her as the sole owner of a pro-football team. The Rebels creative team also includes executive producer, Matt Alvarez ("Ride Along"), musician and actor Ice Cube and Michael Strahan, former football player for the New York Giants and host of "Live with Kelly and Michael."

Another great pilot and what a great comedy i really enjoyed it but monkey with gun was priceless and hitting the guy who going become your quarterback was amusing .

What a way to start with them dropping the coffin and then Julie walking in on her son, Chris watching porn but with her husband dying and leaves her the sole owner of a pro-football team it was bound to cause tension and allowing Steve to snort coke and play with a loaded gun was priceless
