Mob City Premieres on TNT on December 04, 2013

Mob City is a period drama based on the book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City, capturing the true story of a decades-long conflict between the Los Angeles Police Department, under the determined leadership of Police Chief William Parker, and ruthless criminal elements led by Mickey Cohen, a one-time boxer who rose to the top of L.A.’s criminal world. The series is a fast-paced crime drama set in Los Angeles during post-World War II (the 1940s and '50s). It's a world of glamorous movie stars, powerful studio heads, returning war heroes, a powerful and corrupt police force and an even more dangerous criminal network determined to make L.A. its West Coast base.

1x01 A Guy Walks Into a Bar...

I must admit I thought there were guns in the violin cases but in the pram was a nice misdirection and who would of thought going to confession would be so deadly, Joe shooting Hecky knowing the backup was only minuets away was a surprise

1x02 Reason to Kill a Man

The kids trying to rob the cashier at the cinema was surprising as it was in broad daylight and William disarming the gunman when he opened the door was amusing

1x03 Red Light

Getting that street murder on film was lucky but him wanting to make money out of it was dangerous and the woman from the restaurant identifying the wrong man was a little predictable but the gun fight on the carousel was amusing

1x04 His Banana Majesty

Dragna taking the opportunity to make his move on taking over the casinos after Siegel had been arrested was risky and the joke about not being a pineapple when he shoved the banana up his ass was amusing

Joe had no idea when he nailed the toilet widow shut it would end up getting his witness killed but Sid trying to make it look like he was the victim instead of the perpetrator was impressive, taking the child hostage was a low blow
