Criss Angel sets out to confirm he's the greatest magician of all time in Spike's new original series BeLIEve. Criss has been revolutionizing the art of magic for more than a decade, but in this series, Criss takes his  demonstrations to the next level, with an entirely new look and feel. Each week, Angel will attempt bold and audacious demonstrations never attempted by any mystifier in history. For the first time ever in any magic programming, Criss will reveal the creative process beyond the magic as he lets the audience behind closed doors into the creative "think tank" where his team brainstorms, debates and prepares the most spectacular demonstrations in history. Opening with him hovering above a building was impressive but the people in the park when he split the man and women in half was surprising as you would of thought he murdered them but putting the bodies on the wrong legs was amusing, sucking a fish tattoo of her arm and spitting a live fish into a glass was clever but the cement trick was scary

Swallowing a part of a note and then see a bulge move inside his arm was fascinating but then cutting it out looked sick and turning the homeless guys empty shopping trolley into a full trolley was amusing and moving the blind folded beam walk inside was a smart move as there was no way he could do that with the wind blowing

The levitating girl in the park was impressive and Criss attempting the bullet catch for real was interesting as he did take the seriousness of what he was attempting seriously and the fact twelve people have died doing the illusion made it special

Starting the episode with the bird was disturbing and the fact the head was separate made it less believable for me and I cant believe he drove of after the girl was spiked, the girl screaming with the voodoo doll was bizarre as she kept stabbing the doll and raising the dead was a little scary but who can blame some of the audience running out

Allowing the children to be involved with his first attempt to levitate Shaquille O'Neal was nice and impressive but then levitating him over the top of his house was awesome

Only having two weeks to perfect the escape over the Alligator's as that was the only time the location was available made the challenge more interesting

The girl balancing on the sword was impressive but you just knew he would walk away afterwards and the popcorn kernel up his nose and out his eye was disgusting, the sword Russian roulette was incredible

If Criss doing the classic Houdini escape by hanging from his feet in two straitjackets wasn't bad enough but adding weights to his neck did seem a little over the top
