It's A Date is a comedy series exploring the trials and tribulations of the world of dating.

The eight-part narrative comedy series features an extraordinary mix of Australia's most respected performers including Gold Logie award-winners Asher Keddie, Kate Ritchie, John Wood and Lisa McCune alongside stars of the stage and screen Stephen Curry, Sibylla Budd, Shane Jacobson, Sophie Lowe, Nadine Garner, Pia Miranda, Peter Helliar, Lawrence Mooney, Ian Smith, and from the UK, comedy superstar Ross Noble in a rare TV acting role. Alongside these seasoned performers are some of Australia's best emerging comedy talents including Jess Harris, Ronny Chieng, Kate McLennan, Luke McGregor and Nazeem Hussain.

It's A Date explores the tension, expectation and complication of finding true love. Each episode thematically links two self-contained dates as they bravely head toward desire or disaster.

Each new episode features a different cast tackling a different set of situations and addressing a new question each week. Should you have sex on a first date? Does age matter? How accurate are first impressions? How important is honesty on a first date? These are just some of the questions and issues addressed in series one of It's A Date.

Verity's boss, Jason taking her to a comedy show was bizarre as he was one of the acts but using a wheelchair in his sketch was over the top and Richard having dinner for two with his crush Lucy would of been nice if his family didn't interfere

Jessica standing up for Ashraf on the bus was surprising as he was about to be charged double for carrying her massage table and who was playing Zara and Eve was interesting as they have both been in police dramas

Hugo agreeing to a blind date Camilla was interesting but telling her how his wife left was surprising and how embarrassing having to rescue one of your kids from a climbing frame when you are scared if heights

Ben thinking Vicky was new when she did the presentation was unfortunate as she had fancied him from a far but he does love to talk which was annoying and Virginia's date with Kane was bizarre as he still had the coconut in his hair from the night before but the fight leading to a kiss was amusing

What was the radio DJ known as the Pig thinking going on a date with Sam as she sounded really young on the phone but finding out she only wanted to meet him because he's her father was a surprise and the grand children catting their grandmother in bed with a gentleman was priceless

Alison having to make her own way in the rain for her date was surprising in this day and age and Michael getting a text from Kate didn't help but her being a ghost was a complete surprise
