The Vineyard Premiered on ABC Family on July 23, 2013

ABC Family’s newest original docu-series, The Vineyard , is set against the idyllic backdrop of Martha’s Vineyard, MA, and features the island’s iconic Black Dog Tavern. The series follows a mix of locals and transplants living and playing together for the summer. Rounding out the cast of seven girls and four guys is a Latin pop princess, a hopeless romantic and a pre-med student, just to name a few. It’s sure to be an intriguing combination of new friends, new rivals and tight quarters, all resulting in a summer of trouble and romance. The Vineyard is created and executive-produced by Dave Broome (Biggest Loser) and Brian Smith (Masterchef).

The girls jealousy over Katie's friendship with Luis was interesting as she has a boyfriend and Cat telling her mother about Ben when it was supposed to be a secret was disappointing

Luis and Jon still fighting over Katie was crazy as she has a long term boyfriend in New York but Jon getting humiliated when he went for the kiss was great as he had just been bragging what he was going to do and Jackie showing Luis exactly how she feels about him with the kiss was a bold move as that's what Jon tried on Katie

Cat ordering Sophi to stay away from Ben was a little over the top and who would of thought accidentally falling asleep on the beach would cause so much drama

The aftermath of Katie and Lou's beach sleepover was predictable and Sophi wanting to sing in the bar was a dream of hers but going over Gabby's head was a risky move

Emily and Jackie compare notes over Jon's carefree attitude towards them both was interesting but pushing him of the dock afterwards was amusing

I'm not surprised Katie was thrilled that Luis had returns to the island after she put the note in his bag which will allow them to explore their feelings for each other but the fact that she still has a boyfriend overseas will make things awkward especially with Cat who was a close friend was not happy she's not dumped her boyfriend

About time Katie realized she needed to be honest with Matt about her feelings for Luis but Luis willing to risk it by telling her about the one night stand with Jackie was risky as she was going to New York to do it face to face, you cant blame Sophi wanting to keep quiet about giving her number to a girl

Katie telling Luis she has feelings for him but needs space to figure things out was understandable and Cat moving into a new place with Ben was interesting as they have to commit to a years lease but finding out after the chance to follow her dreams of being an artist are now at risk was bad timing, Emily being in doubt that her relationship with Jon might not last when they leave the island makes sense
