Sullivan & Son Premiered on TBS on July 19, 2012

Set to begin shooting later this year, Sullivan and Son takes place in a popular and legendary neighborhood bar in a working-class neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Penn. Filled with locals and regulars, Sullivan & Son is the unofficial “town hall” to the neighborhood.
Steve Sullivan (Byrne) is the son of the current owner of the bar and the grandson of its founder. His Irish-American father and his Korean-American mother never expected their son to leave his job as a successful corporate attorney in New York and return to the old neighborhood to take over Sullivan & Son. But that’s just what he’s done. And so begins Steve’s quest for a more meaningful and rewarding life behind the bar.

Melanie taking a drink for the road was amusing considering she was a paramedic and throwing his phone in a beer jug was impressive but the way Ashley found out Steve was staying was unfortunate and the look on his face when he asked Melanie's boyfriend what he did was priceless considering it was what he did before

The health inspector turning up for his bribe was interesting as Steve refuses and the bar is shut down and I can't believe the tow truck guy would risk another customers life after he thought the first one died

Yeah with friends like those who needs enemies . It wasn't a bad start but negotiating with his mother cover price of the bar was strange since technically he would own it regardless ?

Steve face when Melanie said yes to the proposal was priceless and all because she uncovered the secret about the origins of the bar

Carol saying she may of blew wind from Earth Wind & Fire was amusing and Owen deciding to try and find his biological father was interesting especially when he thought it was Hank

Gary sounded to good to be true which did make you think Melanie has anger issues but it was a good job he was wearing her pants because that would of been awkward pulling his pants down if he was innocent

Owen being able to play the piano was a surprise considering he thinks he cant do anything after having over 50 jobs but Owen and Carol trying a new double act at the bar was amusing considering the songs they sang and the fact they are mother and son

Cha creating a fake online profile for him was amusing considering she was the wrong type of girl until the jug of beer which was priceless and asking Ryan to be the fifth musketeer was bizarre

Carol getting depressed when she discovers she's going through menopause was interesting but the guys helping pull everything tight to see what she would look like after cosmetic surgery was amusing and Ahmed did a good job to make her feel better but you knew Owen would be upset

I have a felling Jo was going to run off with the guys money but in all fairness she did pick the winning horse, the way Steve got the money back was impressive

Susan providing her mother with a fake ID granting her senior citizen status was amusing as she wanted to save money and I'm not surprised Hank's co-workers filed a complaint against him for making inappropriate comments considering some of the racist things he says

Ken Jeong playing Susan's overachieving husband Jason was amusing as we know him for his role in Community and Melanie starting a support group was bizarre as it was for confused sports fans
