Season 1

Episode 1: Jumping Tracks (Jan/04/2012)
Rich, young, socialite Gladys yearns to do her part by joining Victory Munitions' secretarial pool. At the factory, Gladys meets the girls of Blue Shift, including Betty, a tough farm-girl; new girl Kate, who's on the run from an abusive father; and the glamorous Vera. Governing them all is Lorna, their formidable shift matron whose stern exterior masks a conflicted soul. Enjoying the taste of her new life, Gladys embarks on a brave and foolhardy venture to secretly defy her family and join these girls.

Episode 2: Misfires (Jan/11/2012)
Gladys works hard to juggle her double life racing between the factory-floor and attending high-society parties, when an unforeseen tragedy divides the factory: a faulty test-bomb sends a worker to the hospital with serious injuries. Men are quick to blame the Blue Shift women and factory manager Harold needs a scapegoat. Determined to clear the girls, Lorna and Marco conduct their own investigations, while Kate scrambles to protect her false identity. Despite her outsider status, Gladys attempts to galvanize the women to stand up for their rights.

Episode 3: How You Trust (Jan/18/2012)
A surprise inspection throws Victory Munitions into a frenzy. Determined to prove themselves, the girls band together, and Lorna uses the opportunity to incriminate Marco. Kate finds herself as the prime suspect in a rash of thefts and is exiled to the storeroom, where she meets a man who shows her a thrilling new world of music. Singled out as the thief's target, Gladys lays a trap that nets a shocking secret.

Episode 4: Bringing Up Bombshell (Jan/25/2012)
Blue Shift claims the honour of building Victory Munitions' millionth bomb, and film director Russell Joseph is searching for the perfect poster-girl to star in his recruitment newsreel. Management chooses Betty who, urged by Kate, accepts. Meanwhile, a rise in factory hankypanky prompts Lorna to pitch Harold on a factory "code of conduct." And Gladys finally finds the courage to confront her fiancé James about his past.

Episode 5: Armistice (Feb/01/2012)
Lorna is asked to give a speech at the factory for Armistice Day, while James and Gladys' relationship is put to the test after he finds out about Gladys' fling with an airman. Betty tries unsuccessfully to spend time alone with Kate, while Vera is forced to make a difficult choice.

Episode 6: Elements of Surprise (Feb/08/2012)
Set against the attack on Pearl Harbor, Gladys' secret job is exposed, while Lorna grapples with a possible pregnancy and Kate struggles to stand up to the return of her manipulative father.
