Top Boy is a drama series which follows young gang members living in east London. Dushane, is a 19-year-old who runs a street gang in the racially mixed Summerhouse estate in Hackney and he has plans to move into drug dealing. The series is written by Ronan Bennett.

Having their stash of drugs stolen by the rival gang was unfortunate because they still have to pay the debt of £2,000 to their boss and you can understand why Lisa said she had no kids when she was sectioned because she is unable to cope and she was scared that her 13-year-old son Ra'Nell will be taken into care

Getting robbed a second time was just careless considering what they are dealing with and after accidentally killing the guy's cousin should make thing interesting but sad that Ra'Nell missed his mom on her day release from hospital

A GUN murder at a teenager’s funeral could have been copied from Channel 4 gangster drama Top Boy.

Ronnie Khan, 21, was shot dead at close range in front of 200 mourners on Thursday afternoon. Just 24 hours earlier, a scene on Top Boy featured a mob staking out a memorial to a murdered rival.

Police sources said the real killing was related to violence between two gangs in Brixton and Peckham, South London.

Top Boy, screened on four nights this week, portrayed gang culture on a fictional East London estate.

And young Twitter users went online to claim there was a direct link between the two. One wrote: “Look at what top boy has done 1 person dead 1 seriously wounded in a funeral, its total madness.” Another said: “Why r people imitating #topboy someone just died at a funeral.”

Well if we all copied what we watched on TV what a sorry state the world would be in, it could be a bank robbery or stealing a car or the lowest of them all mugging a pensioner but trying to blame it on TV is a cop out

What they did to the dog was tragic but it must of been one of his friends who told them where he hides the dog when he is at school and killing to get their drugs back was inevitable

Ra'Nell deciding to negotiate directly with Dushane over the price of Heather's crop was the worst thing he could do and now with Sully killing again just to steal the weed that Dushane agreed to pay for so selling Sully out to protect himself  i thought was inevitable but i didn't expect him to kill another himself and paying for Heather's crop was nice considering she has just had a baby

The naked guy walking into the hairdressers was bizarre but chasing him out with the broom was amusing and Dushane's new solicitor was impressive

I can't believe how cocky and lucky the phone thief kid was being caught only to escape again but shouting his mouth off is bound to backfire sooner or later

Chopping the hand off was a shock and so much for showing he's a man after the shopkeeper stopped him but the witness to Kamale's murder is going to make things interesting

Dushane should be worried now as the police have increase the pressure on Kayla to force her to talk or face charges of perverting the course of justice but going after her child as leverage cruel and throwing him of the balcony because he warned Dushane was tragic
