Biff and Sisaundra singing "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" was an amazing opening performance and Morgan being matched up against Stevie singing One Direction's "Story of My Life" was another good closing song as they both survived

Dani and Clarissa kicking off the night with Pink's "Perfect," was nice as the both chose it simultaneously but Shakira declaring Dani the winner and sending Clarissa home was a tough decision, Melissa and Music Box agreeing to sing Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire." was great as they both have powerful voices

Audra kicking off the show was nice and what a good performance from Madilyn considering her age but being one of the ones going home was a surprise

Kristen opening performance and the judges comments was great as Shakira was so thrilled by the performance she can barely contain herself but Tess being twice stolen and still going strong was impressive especially being the first to go forward, Delvin being first up for team Adam was nice and being followed by Jake was great

Team Usher finishing off the play-offs was great and Bria, Josh and T.J. getting the final spots was lucky

Bria being the first of the live performers was nice and Kristen continuing when she had a near disaster when her microphone died was impressive but after Josh finished of the night there are some tough choices on who stays

Adam and his team members Kat, Delvin and Christina performing Peter Gabriel's hit "Sledgehammer." was a nice way to start the night, Josh and Kristen being the first two through was great considering Kristen's microphone failure and Shakira's taking the stage to sing her new hit "Empire" was awesome but Tess saying goodbye to Dani and T.J. after getting saved was sad

Kat being the first artist out of the gate after Rixton kicks off the show was great and being followed by Tess, Audra was awesome but once again with Sisaundra closing the show is another tough choice

Usher being joined on stage by his artists Josh and Bria  singing Lenny Kravitz's "Always on the Run." was a great start and being followed by Christina and Sisaundra being the first two saved was great but Tess and Bria being the ones going home was surprising

Adam with blond hair was a surprising change and Sisaundra being first up tonight singing "River Deep-Mountain High." was nice and closing with Christina from team Adam singing Lil Wayne's "How to Love." was great

Opening the show with four of the finalists singing  "Chainsaw," was nice and Josh being the first saved must of been a wait of his mind and Shakira's reaction when Kristen's name was called out was amusing but Kat getting the final save lucky as the other three were also good

Usher opening the night singing his new single "Good Kisser" and his dancers were impressive, all the artists dedicating their songs tonight to their friends and families back in their home towns was nice

Country band Rascal Flatts starting the nights events was different and Jake must of felt lucky being the first to make it to the final, Jacquie Lee performing her new single, "Broken Ones," was nice and Josh must of been relieved being called second, leaving just the girl to sing for a save seemed unfair but Christina getting the last save was great for her

The final three artists, Christina, Josh and Jake each singing three songs including one with their coaches was great and a touch choice to pick a winner

This was obviously the first half of the season final with a recap of their performances and making sure I don't read who has won has been tough as I'm am so far behind

Another great night of singing and what a shame that Christina was named third after also getting the last save but congratulations to Josh for winning

With season 8 about to start I better get a wriggle on with season 7, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams  joining the other coaches was great and Luke getting a quick response was nice as he was the first but Clara's voice was surprising, Gwen using her "girl card" to score 16-year-old Bryana was amusing and Damien getting emotional was understandable as he had four coaches to choose from

DaNica starting the night off was great as she got three chairs to turn around and being followed by Joe who turns all four chairs was awesome, 15-year-old Reagan's voice was impressive and Sugar was lucky as they  only turned around in the last seconds

John certainly proved he's not just a forklift operator by turning three chairs and Gwen immediately turning her chair around 18-year-old Jessie was great and glad she chose her as her coach

15-year-old Katriz was a great start to tonight's episode and Jonathan joining Team Adam was great as he could of picked any of them
