Season 1



1. Strange Love
Openingwith two young adults driving down the road they see a sign selling TruBlood. After a short confrontation with a vampire they take off.Next, Sookie Stackhouse,a waitress at a local Bar notices a vampire whowalks in. After locking eyes with the vampire she confronts him askinghis order. The vampire asks for Tru Blood but due to a lack of vampireactivity there isn't any in stock.Soon Sookie runs out of the bar after the vampire and two people thatlure the vampire outside. The two people are found draining the bloodfrom the vampire. The blood is known to enhance the healing process inhumans and give a bit of a sex boost.Sookie saves the vampire, who introduced himself as Bill.

2. The First Taste
AfterSookie gets saved by Bill she suffers a lot of injuries and Bill triesto save her "the Vampire way". The next day her brother is releasedfrom police custody and the bodies of Sookie's attackers are found.Later that day Bill goes to visit Sookie's family and gets a not sofriendly welcome.

3. Mine
Billintroduces Sookie to some of his vampire friends while Tara is stilltroubled by her family and tries to find comfort at LaFayette's.

4. Escape From Dragon House
Whenone of Merlotte's barmaids is murdered, all fingers point to Jason. AndSookie goes to new territory to find the truth and prove her brother'sinnocence.

5. Sparks Fly Out
At theDescendants of the Glorious Dead meeting Bill is invited to talk abouthis life as a Confederate Soldier. Bill then has a question and answersession when one member of the DGD shows Bill a tintype of the Comptonfamily.Sam, Sookie, Tara and Jason are also present at the Descendants of theGlorious Dead meeting. Jason notices Tara while he is high on vampireblood.

6. Cold Ground
Sookieseeks solace from her friends after facing a tragedy. Jason suffersfrom withrawal symptoms. Sam and Tara share a bond in searching acommon goal.

7. Burning House of Love
Billgets into action after he learns of Sookies painful past. Jason makes aconnection with Amy in Fangtasia searching for V juice. A trio ofmysterious red necks come for their old friend Bill seeking justiceagainst vampires.

8. The Fourth Man in the Fire
Sookie braces herself for more tragedy. Tara thinks of a newapproach with dealing with her anger by adopting a similar therapy toLettie Mae. Amy charms a crowd showing a darker side to Jason after theV juice runs out. Bill persuades Sookie into helping Eric using hergifts to catch criminals.


9. Plaisir D'Amour
Bill's continuous concern for Sookie causes him to go against thevampire's code. Jason and Amy go to extremes to score "V", Tara goesback to the exorcist, and Sam is put in charge to look after Sookiewhile Bill faces a hearing.

10. I Don't Wanna Know
Sam divulges a secret to Sookie. Tara finally see's Miss Jeanette's true intentions. Sookie has visions that disturb her at an engagement party. Jason and Amy wonder what to do with Eddie. Bill is faced with a harsh punishment but the magister has other ideas involving a human Jessica.

11. To Love is to Bury
Bill and Eric come out of the tribune astonished over Jessica. Sookie and Sam visit a philandering police officer to get information behind the mystic visions. Jason and Amy ponder over their future. Lafayette decides to pay a state senator a visit on the campaign trail over his hypocracy. Sookie and Sam begin to get closer. Jason lands himself in trouble with the law.

12. You'll Be the Death of Me
Sookie finds a connection to the murders in Bon Temps. Jason finds a new goal in life. Bill tempts fate, continuing to find a way to rescue Sookie from harm. Sam is troubled by a familiar face from his past.

Season 2



Episode 1: Nothing But the Blood
Sookie's relationship with Bill is tested when she learns the truth about his involvement in her uncle's death. Jason spends money on a retreat to The Fellowship of the Sun.

Episode 2: Keep This Party Going
Sookie is forced to babysit Jessica, as well as endure the romantic inconveniences the teen vampire's presence creates. At the Light of Day leadership conference, Jason makes an impression on its ambitious leaders, Steve and Sarah Newlin. One of his fellow campers, Amanda Jane and her band, the God Rockets, livens the spirits at camp with their hit single, Jesus Asked Me Out Today. Maryann casts her spell on Merlotte's patrons.

Episode 3: Scratches
Bill and Eric team up to save Sookie from a mysterious creature. Jason has second thoughts about the Light of Day retreat anti-vampire agenda, but Sarah and Steve counter his doubts with flattery and promises. Sam leaves town after alienating everyone. Jessica heads over to Merlotte's, where a smitten Hoyt falls for her. Tara is attracted to Eggs but is rudely interrupted by a fog.

Episode 4: Shake and Fingerpop
With Jessica in tow, Bill and Sookie head to Dallas to carry out Eric's vampire-reconnaissance mission but a surprise awaits them at the airport. At the Light of Day Institute, Jason falls victim to a practical joke but has the last laugh when the Newlins anoint him for a higher calling. Maryann throws Tara a birthday party at Sookie's, attracting much of Bon Temps to its Bacchanalian revelry. Sam postpones his departure from town to attend the bash, connecting with Daphne in the process. Having barely escaped Fangtasia, Lafayette finds himself reluctantly pulled back into Eric's orbit.

Episode 5: Never Let Me Go
While in Dallas, Sookie connects with one of her own. Jason is rewarded for his hard work at the Light of Day boot camp. Eric and Bill bond over their past.

Episode 6: Hard-Hearted Hannah
Sookie embarks on a dangerous mission to locate Godric. Bill is shocked when a vampire from his past resurfaces in Dallas. Jason makes some difficult decisions.

Episode 7: Release Me
Sam finds himself in an unenviable predicament at the hands of Maryann and her minions. While imprisoned with Hugo, Sookie tries to communicate with Barry using her telepathic powers. Bill is held captive by the stubborn Lorena. Jason attempts to sever his ties with the Fellowship of the Sun but faces resistance from Steve and his enforcer Gabe.

Episode 8: Timebomb
Eric arrives to do his master's bidding on the eve of the Fellowship's lockdown surprising a captive Sookie. Sam makes a gruesome discovery at Merlotte's putting him in danger. Jessica and Hoyt find that with sex everytime is the first time. Jason pays his debts to the vampires.

Episode 9: I Will Rise Up
Eric gets hurt taking advantage of Sookie's good nature and takes her for a ride. Sookie and Jason bond over their adventures. Lafayette and Lettie Mae try to save their kin from Maryann's clutches. In prison Sam tries to set himself free and avoid Maryann. Eric and his fellow vampires are floored by Godric's decision to take the fall for their disastrous PR.

Episode 10: New World In My View
Bill, Sookie and Jason return to Bon Temps. Sam and Andy are lured back to Merlotte's by Arlene and find refuge from the bloodthirsty revelers. Bill finds traditional methods don't work on Maryann. Sookie tries to help Tara who is engulfed in darkness. Jason attempts to rescue Sam.

Episode 11: Frenzy
Bill seeks out the advice of Sophie-Anne, the Vampire Queen of Louisiana, but must exercise patience before she gives him critical information. Meanwhile, Sookie and Lafayette find that protecting Tara from herself is more difficult than they anticipated; a desperate Sam turns to an unlikely source for assistance; and Jessica tests Hoyt's allegiance to Maxine.

Episode 12: Beyond Here Lies Nothin'
Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch as Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be maid of honor at the bloody nuptials. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam places his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally. Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss. Hoyt struggles with Maxine's endless stream of insults. Sophie-Anne warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill's inquisitiveness.

Eric remembers his past. Russell Edgington, the Vampire King of Mississippi, concocts a plan to consolidate his power.

Episode 3: It Hurts Me Too
In search of Bill, Sookie heads to Jackson, Mississippi in the company of Alcide, a werewolf bodyguard assigned by Eric to protect her. Jason is distracted from his police exams. Bud reaches the end of his rope and Arlene copes with unexpected news. Franklin charms Tara and gets Jessica out of a jam while Eric bequeaths a gift to Lafayette. Haunted by visions from his past, Bill makes a surprising pledge of allegiance.

Episode 4: 9 Crimes
ookie joins Alcide at a raucous engagement party for his former fiancee, Debbie Pelt. Bill "procures" dinner for Russell and Lorena. Sam brokers a deal with Tommy and his parents. Andy gets a promotion and draws Jason's attention. Arlene is irked by Jessica's arrival at Merlotte's. Eric is given a deadline to locate Bill. Franklin takes Tara on a road trip.

Episode 5: Trouble
Sookie and Alcide turn to an alpha-wolf "packmaster" for advice on how to deal with Russell's minions. Jason meets his match in a mysterious girl named Crystal. Tara considers a proposal from Franklin, who's completed his mission for Russell. Lafayette learns the meaning of patience from Jesus, his mother's orderly. An heirloom reminds Eric of his past and his ongoing thirst for vengeance. Joe Lee breaks his promise to Sam and Tommy.

Episode 6: I Got a Right to Sing the Blues
Spurned by Eric, Sookie fears the worst for Bill, whose fate now lies in Lorena's hands. Jason's romance with Crystal hits a snag, as does Lafayette's with Jesus. Fueled by a night of passion, Tara executes a desperate plan to stave off Franklin's advances. After revealing his master plan to Eric, Russell pays a visit to Louisiana in order to start executing it. In Bon Temps, Tommy finds it difficult to leave the family nest. Jessica gets her fix from a Merlotte's customer.

Episode 7: Hitting the Ground
Sookie's attempt to rescue Bill has unforseen consequences. Meanwhile, Jason seeks the truth about Crystal. Sam must step in when Tommy gets involved in a dog fighting ring, all thanks to Melinda and Joe Lee's quest for money. Eric figures out how to get the information he wants from Sophie-Anne. Debbie plans to get even with Alcide while Russell ignores the Magister.

Episode 8: Night on the Sun
While Sookie must rethink her relationship with Bill, he reconciles with Jessica. As Russell decides what he's going to do next, Sophie-Anne relocates her residence. Jason offers a challenge to save Crystal while Ruby Jean pays Lafayette a surprise visit. A new waitress starts at Merlotte's. Eric's allegiance to Russell is proven. Alcide's family emergency puts Sookie in a vulnerable position.

Episode 9: Everything Is Broken
The Vampire Rights Amendment is close to being ratified so Nan confronts Eric at Fangtasia about the whereabouts of the Magister. Russell vows revenge against all his vampire and human adversaries. Bill discovers the truth about Sookie's true identity. Unexpected help arrives as Jason goes up against Felton and Calvin. Arlene is overcome by a sense of futility about her future while Tara meets up with a new ally and with someone who caused her pain in the past. Sookie meets a new family member. Hoyt addresses his real feelings head on.

Episode 10: I Smell A Rat
Sookie is warned about the dangers she will have to deal with. Dark memories surface for Sam. Arlene must ask Holly for help while Jason faces unexpected dealings with Tara and Crystal. Jesus' interest in V's qualities is aroused. Russell vows to inflict punishment on his enemies. After precautions, Eric satisfies a wish.

Episode 11: Fresh Blood
Bill wants to earn back Sookie's trust but once again brings her close to danger. Eric tempts Russell with the "ultimate vampire dream". Jason tries to comprehend what he's learned about Crystal. Sam alienates everyone but Tara. Jessica and Hoyt take their romance up a notch. Lafayette struggles with new demons.

Episode 12: Evil is Going On
Sookie gives careful consideration to a life without vampires of any kind. While secretly planning a perfect payback for Russell, Eric deals with his feelings of right and wrong. Tommy's latest overstepping boundaries leaves Sam in a rage. A new vocation is in store for Jason after he warns Crystal's family about a potential drug raid. Jesus has something more to offer than just an interpersonal relationship when Lafayette comes to him for help. Hoyt ignores his mother and entertains plans for a future with Jessica.

Season 4



Episode 1: She's Not There
Sookie distances herself from Bon Temps leaving Eric and Bill to try their charms on the human public. Sam bonds with other shifters, while Hoyt and Jessica argue about dinner. Lafayette is urged by Jesus to join a coven. Terry tries to dispel Arlene's distressing emotions about impending evil.

Episode 2: You Smell Like Dinner
Tara and Sookie are back together to work on a real-estate issue. Bill and Eric discuss a local coven that could be a problem for the vampires. Jason is the recipient of some unconventional medical help. Sam discovers some things about Luna's demons. Jessica's cravings for human blood become stronger as she struggles to control them.

Episode 3: If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin'?
Eric and Sookie work out an agreement while Bill renders advice and guidance to Jessica. Meanwhile, Jason becomes Crystal's reluctant hero and Tommy, once again, becomes estranged from Sam. Pam instructs Lafayette that if demands aren't met, retaliation may be in order. Marnie sets out to give her new powers a try. Eric upsets a get-together.

Episode 4: I'm Alive and on Fire
Sookie goes to Alcide for help in finding Eric while Bill finds a link with the Bellefleurs. Marnie needs help to undo a spell and Sam makes it into Luna's inner circle. Jason wants free of his obligations. Tommy goes back to where he originated.

Episode 5: Me and the Devil
Bill gets into some difficulty and Sookie takes Eric under her wing. Tommy involves Sam in his criminal activities while Arlene and Terry look to religion for answers. Jason gradually regains his health. Lafayette and Jesus make their way to Mexico seeking a way to control their powers.

Episode 6: I Wish I Was the Moon
Under a full moon, Sookie heads out to look for Jason. Arlene and Terry have to deal with a suspicious out-of-control fire. Marnie establishes a rapport with past spirits. Alcide considers Debbie's urging to join a new werewolf community. Sam and Tommy trade places. Lafayette is making headway in Mexico. Eric gives in to his King's wishes.

Episode 7: Cold Grey Light of Dawn
Bill passes an order that is generally disliked. Eric eagerly accepts his amnesia. Luna finds out something interesting about Sam. Holly and Andy hook up. Lafayette becomes more aware of his own existence, sensations, thoughts and surroundings. Jessica's not so sure her current relationship has much future. Alcide and Debbie make the decision to join a new werewolf community.

Episode 8: Spellbound
Bill and Marnie get ready for an open confrontation. The King secures the loyalty of Sookie and Eric. Jason is conflicted emotionally. A spirit manipulates Lafayette for its own purposes. Sam must deal with Marcus who just happens to be Luna's ex.

Episode 9: Run
Sookie tries to figure out how to fit both Bill and Eric into her life. Lafayette needs Jesus' help to rid him of the spirit that has taken over. Alcide is called upon by Marcus to help render assistance. Opposing ideas bring Bill into direct conflict with Nan. Marnie secretly plans out the strategy for her next step against the vampires in spite of Tara and Holly's apprehension about the outcome.

Episode 10: Burning Down the House
Bill needs Sookie to use her powers which results in breaking a spell. Jessica is implored to glamour Jason. Terry tries to help Andy with an intervention. Alcide reassesses his loyalties. Bill organizes the vampires to attack Marnie's Moon Goddess Emporium while Jesus, Lafayette, Sookie and Jason attempt to free Tara and Holly.

Episode 11: Soul of Fire
It's up to Sookie and her powers to keep Bill, Eric and Pam from harm. While Jesus casts a spell, Lafayette is totally absorbed by the past. Sams gets even with Marcus and Alcide deals with Debbie head on. Andy's foray into the forest is filled with deep, overwhelming emotion.

Episode 12: And When I Die
The souls of the dead rise up in Bon Temps. Sookie makes some important associations. Jesus and Lafayette's connection is imperiled. Sam and Luna imagine a happy and perfect future. Sookie and Tara are confronted by Debbie.

Episode 1: Turn! Turn! Turn!
Desperate they may lose her forever, Sookie and Lafayette struggle with what to do about Tara, while also cleaning up after Debbie Pelt. Meanwhile, Bill and Eric, cleaning up a mess of their own, are visited by the Vampire Authority, one of whom is Nora, a woman from Eric's past. In search of the missing Marcus, Alcide's werewolf pack comes after Sam. With Bill away, Jessica enjoys her new freedom by partying with some local college kids; Jason is visited by the recently turned Reverend Steve Newlin; Terry's PTSD is reignited by an old Iraq War buddy, Patrick; Alcide turns up at Sookie's to warn her about the recently resurfaced Russell Edgington.

Episode 2: Authority Always Wins
Eric and Bill try to keep their wits about them when they're put through the interrogation wringer at the Vampire Authority headquarters in New Orleans. Meanwhile, Pam recalls her first meeting with Eric in early 20th-century San Francisco; Alcide turns his back on Marcus' wolf pack; Emma's grandmother comes between Sam and Luna; Steve Newlin wants what he thinks belongs to Jessica; and Jason's womanizing comes back to haunt him.

Episode 3: Whatever I Am, You Made Me
The search for Debbie Pelt becomes official when her parents come to Bon Temps to ask Andy to look for her, but Sookie is afraid of what they—and Alcide—might find out. Meanwhile, Roman mulls Bill and Eric's proposal to do away with Russell Edgington, though Salome has her own separate vetting process; and Jason has an uneasy reunion with an influential teacher from high school.

Episode 4: We'll Meet Again
Pam tries to be a good maker for her new progeny, but wonders what's to become of the relationship with her own. Meanwhile, Bill and Eric try to find out who else knew about Russell Edgington's disposal; Roman searches for a traitor in his inner circle; Sam is visited by some old friends; Terry and Patrick hunt for a former comrade; Alcide breaks some bad news to the Pelts; and a judge takes Andy and Jason to an exclusive club.

Episode 5: Boot N' Rally Ally
Jason is disturbed by a dream; Bill and Eric hope Sookie will help them look for Russell Edgington.

Episode 6: Hopeless
The Authority comes for Bill and Eric; Roman maps out his strategy for dealing with Russell.

Episode 7: In The Beginning
Salome reveals her true allegiances while Bill and Eric get a powerful taste of sacred blood. A revelation at Hot Wings causes Sookie to wonder what her life would be like without faerie powers. Meanwhile, Sam sniffs out several shifter shooters; Hoyt finds camaraderie in a new group of friends; Alcide prepares for the worst in his face-off with J.D.; Andy attempts to reconnect with Bud; Lafayette finds an unlikely ally searching for Jesus’ body in Mexico; Lettie Mae pays Tara a visit; and Arlene takes a sentimental journey as her concerns towards Terry deepen.

Episode 8: Somebody That I Used to Know
The Authority revels in a new direction; Sookie and Jason visit the site of their parents’ deaths; Luna gets stuck on Sam.

Episode 9: Everybody Wants To Rule The World
The start of the vampire holy war is a cause for celebration for Salome and the Chancellors, but Eric may decide to go AWOL; Sookie learns more about her parents' death from a deceased relative; Andy and Jason investigate the rise in shifter murders; Alcide recalls his induction into the pack; Arlene is drawn into Terry and Patrick's strange journey; Steve Newlin gets a new pet.

Episode 10: Gone, Gone, Gone
Bill launches a public-relations campaign about the rise in vampire violence that's favorable to the Authority, though Nora has a hard time selling it to Eric. Meanwhile, Jason discovers a mysterious scroll that could help explain his family's history; Pam and Tara contemplate orders from the new sheriff; Sam and Luna look for Emma; and Russell plans for his future.

Episode 11: Finally
Sookie probes an ancient family secret with help from a faerie elder; Jessica is an unwilling participant in Bill's ongoing religious conversion; Alcide reconnects with his father; the military uses a video of Russell and Steve Newlin as ammunition; Sam and Luna hitch a ride into the Authority.

Episode 12: Save Yourself
In the fifth-season finale, Eric makes one last attempt to thwart the Authority and save Bill from losing his humanity. Meanwhile, Alcide prepares for another battle with JD; Sam and Luna try to escape the Authority; and Andy deals with the fallout of a pact.

Episode 1: Who Are You, Really?
In the wake of Bill's blood-soaked reincarnation, Sookie, Eric, Jason, Jessica, Tara, Pam and Nora flee the Authority compound as Sam, Luna and Emma (Chloe Noelle) dodge swarming guards. Now packmaster, Alcide discovers that the job comes with unsavory side dishes, but other major perks. In Bon Temps, Andy deals with parenting four newborn human-faerie hybrids. Meanwhile, Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell (Arliss Howard) vows open season on vampires. Jessica returns to Compton Place as Jason hitches a ride with an eerie stranger.

Episode 2: The Sun
A long-lost relative reveals himself to Jason and Sookie. After Tara is victimized by a new government weapon, Eric takes matters into his own hands in an effort to thwart Burrell's anti-vampire initiatives. On the road to work, Sookie is drawn to a handsome stranger who shares her faerie abilities. Sam is unnerved by supernatural-rights zealot Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), and is confronted by Alcide and Martha about Emma's future. Bill contemplates the scope of his heightened powers.

Episode 3: You’re No Good
Irate over Burrell's blatant aggression towards vampires, Eric takes matters into his own hands. After dangerously testing the limits of his powers, Bill enlists a TruBlood innovator to synthesize a new type of blood - but has difficulty finding the right donor. Sookie begins to learn why Warlow is after her. Sam receives unexpected help from Nicole and her Vampire Unity Society (V.U.S.) associates. Steve Newlin finds his past ideals turning into a current nightmare.

Episode 4: At Last
Sookie confronts her growing attraction to the mysterious Ben. Eric counters Burrell's brutal anti-vampire initiatives by hitting his nemesis where it hurts the most. Growing up all too quickly, Andy's faerie daughters end up keeping dangerous company. Sam and Nicole make a connection. Bill tasks Takahashi (Keone Young) to synthesize a new kind of blood.

Episode 5: Fuck the Pain Away
Seeking more answers about her past, Sookie enlists Lafayette to summon her dead parents. Meanwhile, Eric and Tara resort to drastic measures when Pam finds herself in dangerous territory. Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) reconnects with Jason as Jessica seeks atonement.

Episode 6: Don't You Feel Me
Bill decides to seek out Lillith (Jessica Clark) for advice on handling the escalating human-vampire crisis. Eric, Pam, Nora, Jason and Jessica get up-close-and-personal looks at the perverse perils of Vamp Camp. Sam comes to a decision he hopes will be in Emma's (Chloe Noelle) best interest. Andy gives his faerie daughter a name, or two or three or four. Arlene has a solution to Terry's malaise. Eric makes a startling discovery.

Episode 7: In the Evening
Eric makes a last-ditch effort to save an ailing Nora. A tragedy close to home forces Sam to ignore Alcide's warning and return to Bon Temps. Jessica shows her gratitude to James (Luke Grimes), a fellow incarcerated vamp, while an emboldened Sarah exacts a measure of revenge on Jason.

Episode 8: Dead Meat
Sookie faces a major dilemma in deciding whether to broker a deal between Warlow and Bill. In vamp camp, Jason gets to know Violet (Karolina Wydra), while Sarah goes to extremes to keep Tru Blood flowing. Alcide makes a decision that will impact the futures of Nicole and Sam.

Episode 9: Life Matters
A desperate Bill tries to ferry Warlow away from the faerie plain, but Sookie is having none of it. Meanwhile, Eric arrives at vamp camp, looking to inflict serious human damage. In Bon Temps, friends and family take emotional turns remembering a fallen neighbor. Bill feels the pull of Lilith's (Jessica Clark) sirens.

Episode 10: Radioactive
Bill discovers that salvation comes at a price; Jason senses a vampire attraction firsthand. Sookie examines her future with Warlow, while Bon Temps braces itself when a new crisis threatens both humans and vampires.
