I understand your frustration about new update. Now Flash needs roughly 3 times bandwidth than RM does ,and is more sensitive to connection glitches. Some members have to buffer more time and tolerate more connection problems, especially non EU-and-US users. In addition, Flash has little functions and controls than Realplayer does. I will discuss with others to reduce these disadvantages.

I had trouble with a free show today freezing. when it would freeze I just clicked refresh, play then when it started moved the clip up where it left off. Problem solved. Not saying I enjoyed doing it but it worked.

Come on people - things have to change to keep pace with the times - I know it isn't easy - I prefered the real player to the flash but I am sure I will get used to the new way in time - but remember the administrators at viptv are providing an excellent service - one that I have not found as good anywhere else - for very little money - and they should be commended for keeping it up to date with changes in technology. As for the wonderful moderators - they are here because they like doing what they are doing - they are not getting paid and I think they deserve thanks for all the work they do posting things so that people like me can come in and read stuff whenever we have questions and usually the answers are there already. Thank you administrators and moderators for a wonderful site. Now that I got that over with - I noticed that one of the reasons the format was changed was so that it could be seen on some devices which I am all for - I couldn't get it to work on my phone before now. Has anyone had any luck on android? I tried just now and I get as far as the play arrow then it freezes on a white screen and nothing happens. is there something I need to download?

That is a great questions. I am not as Tech savvy as some of the other mods and I am sure when one comes on that has been looking forward to this feature they will let you know. And thank you for your kind words.

i tried the free show episode and it works fine with me...

Thank you for your kind words. According to Dan, aka dognxtdoor, he was able to use his android phone using the Dolphin browser. He found it didn't work with skyfire or firefox. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestions - downloaded dolphin browser - and got to the exact same point - press the play button get to white screen with hourglass and freezes. It is a new phone - only had it for a month so maybe I just don't have the right stuff on it. I made sure I updated flash player also - but still freezes. Thanks again for the suggestions - any other suggestions or observations would be greatly appreciated.

More info - I have never had a smart phone before - this one is my first - but it is new - 4g - using it on a wifi connection at home - good speed - it should work. Is there maybe a setting I have missed somewhere. I downloaded TV Shows Stream (Lite) which works fine - so I know I can stream. Am quite puzzled. Thanks

I know a couple of the mods have tested it with their phones, so I'm sure one of them will post some suggestions for you when they get online. They were quite pleased with the result, so I'm sure once you suss out the proper settings, and anything else you may need for it to work, that you'll like it too.

i tried it in iPhone using safari and it doesn't work yet... i guess flash player developer has still issues with macintosh... i will check it with macbook later if it will do i will post the result

Flash has taken away MY right to choose the screen size I want. Now its either tiny with rubbish all around OR enormous full screen with poor definition. After so many years with VIP I might be forced to join another site if this size issue cannot be fixed. Will be VERY sad to leave

I would say give it a couple of days and the quality at my end is picture perfect, I'm hoping it all works out in the end but please be patient.

Hi guys, I have a bug report and a request: On all of the eps I have seen so far Flash seems to have the ep as being a few seconds longer than it really is, it gets to the finishing point then says it's buffering rather than actually finishing. RealPlayer opened in a new window, this was useful because you could have it occupy half the screen and it would resize the video to fill the space (great for win7 where you can split the screen in half). Flash player doesn't do this, which is a shame. I only have the option for full screen or tiny, and I would like to be able to have the vid fill the space I want it to.

I have to agree with janeprince2...yeah I know it's only been a day..but I haven't been able to watch anything without it being choppy...a couple of times I've just given up on stuff I've paid to watch, and gone elsewhere.. I hope this all gets sorted out..

Apple don't support Flash on the iPhone/itouch/iPad something that has annoyed a lot of it's users!!

Hi All, I just learned about the change to Flash after trying unsuccessfully to watch a show four times. I understand that the bugs have to be fixed because I had issues with Real Player initially when I joined this site, so I will try to be patient. You guys did a great job improving RP over time, but the performance of Flash is horrible so please fix it soon. I am going to try again in a few days, but I miss being able to watch a whole episode without the constant buffering and freezing that is going on now. Maybe I will be able to appreciate Flash more when I buy an IPAD or smart-phone, but for now please fix these problems so I can enjoy shows on my laptop.
