Davis: 'Sex And The City 2' very different
Kristin Davis has revealed that the sequel to Sex And The City: The Movie will be "very different" from its predecessor.
The actress, who plays art dealer Charlotte York Goldenblatt, refused to tell reporters any details about the highly anticipated script, but insisted that fans will be happy with the result.
"It’s very exciting and very different than the first one, which is the luxury of getting to do another one," she said.
"We did the first one, and those were our pent-up things that we hadn’t finished in the show, so now we’re just starting fresh in a way, which is really, really exciting. It’s just a new adventure."
She went on to say that she was excited by the prospect of reuniting with co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, explaining: "It’s like getting to be with your girlfriends for 18 hours a day, which, you know, nobody gets to do in their lives.
"We see each other when we’re not working. Everyone thinks we don’t, I don’t know why, [maybe] because we don’t parade down the street when we’re together."
Recently, Parker also hinted that viewers could expect Sex And The City 2 to mark a significant departure from its more "mature" and "sophisticated" prequel.
