That's strange you have viewing figures for Friday Night Lights when i thought it finished in February

Reply 1021#1021 codebreaker's post

NBC only just started airing the last season even though the last season had already been released on DVD plus I think Friday Night Lights was being shown on Direct TV, all I know is NBC have them down as new episodes which is strange and confusing.

Exclusive: Danny Glover Joins Kiefer Sutherland in Fox's Drama Pilot Touch

Touch has added another lethal weapon to its ranks.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Danny Glover has been cast opposite Kiefer Sutherland in Fox’s high profile drama pilot, which revolves around a father (Sutherland) who discovers that his autistic and mute son (David Mazouz) can predict events before they happen.

Glover will play Arthur DeWitt, a professor and an expert on children who possess special gifts when it comes to numbers.

Heroes creator Tim Kring penned the script and will serve as an exec producer.

Assuming Fox picks the project up to series, Touch will likely debut at midseason.

Warehouse 13 Beams Up Trek Vets, Julie Benz Feels Royal Pains, and More!

Calling all Trekkies: Warehouse 13 just jumped to the top of your must-watch list.

The Syfy series is peppering its upcoming third season (premiering July 11) with all sorts of sci-fi faves, TV Guide Magazine says, including an Aug. 1 episode featuring Star Trek: Voyager‘s Jeri Ryan and a four-episode arc with Voyager captain Kate Mulgrew (who will play a Warehouse protector).

Also dropping by the Warehouse are Caprica alums Sasha Roiz, who’ll have ties to this season’s “big bad,” and Alessandra Torresani, playing a troubled young girl. Fans can also expect the return of two previous guest stars, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s Rene Auberjonois and Bionic Woman‘s Lindsay Wagner.
Ready for more of today’s TV dish? Well…

• Julie Benz is on the move again — this time dropping by USA Network’s Royal Pains. The No Ordinary Family alumna will play a young mother treated by Hank (Mark Feuerstein) after an accident leaves her with a terrible injury, TV Guide Magazine reports. The episode is set to air Wednesday, August 3.

• When ABC’s One Life to Live comes to end in January (sob!), its headwriter Ron Carlivati will already be gainfully employed… over on General Hospital (yay!). “It has been my distinct honor to write for Agnes Nixon’s groundbreaking [OLTL] for the past 15 years, and it will be with a heavy heart that I, along with my incredibly talented team, pen its finale,” the scribe said in a statement. “At that time, I am happy to announce that I will then be joining the writing team of General Hospital, and am thrilled to be working once again with executive producer Jill Phelps as well as new headwriter Garin Wolf.”

• Singer/actress Brandy has landed a recurring gig on Drop Dead Diva‘s third season (premiering Sunday, June 19), TV Guide Magazine reports. The R&B star will appear in the final three episodes as a J. Parker’s (Josh Stamberg) sexy ex.

• Robin Wright (Forrest Gump) is in talks to play the female lead opposite Kevin Spacey in Netflix’s first original series, House of Cards, says The Hollywood Reporter. Cards is a political thriller based on a British miniseries by the same name.

• Members of the Television Critics Association were thrilled to discover on Friday morning that Ron Effin’ Swanson has been named host of the 27th annual TCA Awards. Parks and Recreation‘s Nick Offerman will take the stage at the exclusive event, taking place Saturday, August 6 in Los Angeles.

• Friends with Benefits update: NBC has revised their plan to air the never-before-seen rom-com. It will now premiere air back-to-back episodes every Friday at 8/7c, from August 5 through September 9.

Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' cast 'in talks for reunion

Former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Tatyana Ali has revealed that a series "reunion" is under consideration.

The actress told Hollywood Life that she has been in talks with original star Will Smith about the project.

Ali said: "I still keep in touch with Will and it would be great to work with him again. The whole cast including Will just talked about doing a reunion."

Ali, who played Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom, explained that scheduling conflicts are currently the main obstacle to filming a reunion.

"I think everyone would be into it [but] it just depends on everyone's schedule," she said. "I was on the show for six years from beginning to end, so having a reunion would be so much fun."

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air aired from 1990 to 1996 on NBC and helped to launch the acting career of Will Smith. The series also starred Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton Banks), James Avery (Uncle Phil), Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks) and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey).

Transporter' star to appear in TV spinoff

The new Transporter television series will remain "connected" to the original movie trilogy, according to executive producer Bernard Bouix.

Prison Break star Chris Vance will play the role of expert driver Frank Martin in the series, the role originated by Jason Statham in the films.

Bouix has now told Nice Matin that French actor François Berléand will reprise his film role as honest cop Tarconi.

"We wanted to stay connected to the three movies," explained the producer. "We wanted to keep a geographical tie. François Berléand [is] back in the series. So we wanted to be kind of like the cousins of the three films."

Bouix also revealed that filming extensive driving sequences for the new series had proven "tough".

"Shutting down the Promenade des Anglais requires obtaining authorisation months in advance," he explained. "I must say that the city of Nice has been extremely hospitable."

Hungarian actress Andrea Osvart and Splice star Delphine Chanéac will also appear in the Transporter series, which will premiere in 2012.
