ok i really like this show but this weeks episode was disappointing.  it was really badly acted by the killer actress wife and even the daughter was painful to watch.  the story line was lacking the normal mentalist flair.  all and all very disappointed with this episode!!

Good episode i liked the way Patrick hypnotized the boy on the pinball machine and the prank calls to the Mob boss

Great episode with the new twist from Red John and the sky writing with two possible victims with one twin murdered they managed to save her twin sister only to realise Red's accomplice was the cop but Patrick killed him saving Lisbon's life

It was interesting to see another side of Red John - that he has a female companion. so if the cop's father's friend is Red John then Red John is in his late 40s or  50s?

Just got a chance to watch the Finale. I thought this was a great final episode for Season one and I can't wait for Season two already!!

We knew that Red John had an interest in Jane but I don't think we realised that he's really obsessed with him. Patrick will have to be careful next season!

It's amazing how quickly his reason went out the window when Red John was in sight. Just as well Lisbon kept a cool head and came back to help Patrick.
