Ghost Rider' features 'huge body count
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor have promised a huge "body count" in their movie sequel.
The pair revealed at New York Comic Con that they had managed to insert plenty of violence into the PG-13 rated film, which stars Nicolas Cage.
"Do you really need to have t*ts and f-bombs in a Ghost Rider movie?" Neveldine told The Playlist.
"We got a couple of f-bombs, and our body count is huge in this movie. It's just that you don't see blood, because this guy kills you with Penance Stares and he tears you apart into ashes."
"There's a lot of fire," said Taylor. "That's a really good trick for directors who are trying to make really violent PG-13 movies. You can burn people all you want!"
Neveldine and Taylor reiterated that the movie is a complete reboot, ignoring the much-maligned original but keeping Cage as the star.
"It's more of a re-quel, where we can abandon everything about the first movie, except for Nic," said Taylor.
"There's no continuity. He did a deal with the devil, but it's a different guy, different devil."
