I have tried CS live help and sending PMs to lbjedward but have not received a response. I cannot view episode 7 season 1 of the x-files. Every time I try and watch it the screen loads black and says done. As you can see from my viewing history I have tried many times. I have been watching other episodes today with no problems and the one before and after work fine. I also tried episodes 8 and 9 and they too are giving me the same problem. I just dont want to lose points for things I dont get to view. At this point the 24hrs has passed since i did not receive a reply to my inquiry sent via PM I have sent two a about 4 days ago to lbjedward on the forum as thats what we are instructed to do and now the 24 hrs has well passed and I am out points for 3 episodes I am unable to view I would like the points restored for the 3 episodes I cannot view. This is to make a clarification and correction. The statement in the first post was incorrect and has been edited. POINTS - you can click on the same episode for as many as 30 times within 24 hours on EITHER SERVER for the initial 2 points. Please pay attention to your point number BEFORE clicking on any shows. Take note of your points at the end of your viewing also. If you have been deducted more than 2 points for 1 episode in the alloted time - then you should post for points to be reimbursed. One suggestion - PM yourself at the end of each viewing session with your point balance. That way you'll know where to find it. (I do this with episode #s) I hope that clears things up for everyone.

I’ve been a long time fan of vip.video.net and I’m a pacifist, I don’t usually air my grievances unless I have to but after so long when I think about all the points that I have lost over the times, from the errors at the worse times possible right when it gets to a good part, I get a little frustrated, but then the show I watch that doesn’t have problems sort of soothes my frustration but I think its about time that I should get this off my chest. I know it can be frustrating and thanks for bearing with us. You may have seen from other posts in other threads that your viewing history is actually a reflection of the times you have clicked on to a show to view it and not necessarily the amount of times you have had points deducted. The best suggestion I can give you is to either keep a record at the beginning of your viewing of the amount of points you have and also at the end of your viewing. That way you can easily see if you have been deducted points you shouldn't have. The other suggestion would be to take out the unlimited viewing (only of course if this is possible for you) that way you don't have to worry about the possibility of losing points.

Second: I think I lost points too - I clicked on EU-servers first, but got often "movie not available" - then switched to the US server, there the streaming worked. Every double entry was not watched twice, but checked 1st on the European Server, then it was not available, then I clicked again on the European server, then switched to the US side (e.g Episode 2,3,5,6). Glad you think our service is cool and great - we do too . The member centre does indeed show how many times a show has been clicked on but not necessarily how many times points were deducted. You are entitled to watch the same episode using up to 30 clicks in a 24 hour period without a loss of points. It would help you to keep a record of the points you have at the start of your viewing and then check the total at the end. If the points dont correspond to your viewing then send PM with a copy of your viewing history along with a brief description of what has hapend to Stone or Zhang2000. They will look into it and re-imburse any necessary points. Happy viewing.

I understand this but the problem I have is that when if I cant view an episode and keep clicking to try to view it, I could either go over 30 times and get charged again, or try and wait and it still doesnt work and 24hrs pass. Both servers do this and I have no idea why all of a sudden it decides to do this, I am up to 16 tries on the episode I have been trying and need to be careful I dont go over the 30 that I am allowed. What are you trying to watch? Is it still 1x07 of The X-Files? Some episodes are having problems, and some people have had trouble with the EU server today. Star Trek: Voyager 2x15 is not there at all, and does what you described. If you let me know what you are attempting to watch I can test it to see if it's a problem with the upload or a problem on your end. Please DO provide state how many points you have been mistakenly overcharged. They will be reimbursed. edited: I just noticed you already provided your viewing history above. OK, I've checked the episode and it loads fine. Ae you opening your own RealPlayer when it starts? To do this right click on the initial pop-up box and select play in Real Player or Play in Real Player Theater Mode. If the episode will only load to a certain point, watch up to there. If it starts communicating, look at the time, press stop then start and drag the bar to the time where you left off. Let it load some more. Check your RP settings for optimal viewing. Barb, Thanks so much for your reply. Stone got my points taken care of from the first incident but now I am on xfiles season 1 episode 14 and the problem is happening again (both servers). So far I havent lost any points because I am being careful not to click over 30 times. I want to keep trying but dont want to get charged again. To see if it would happen with any other shows I went ahead and tried a free show but I still have the same problem there so its just not with the xfiles episode. Thank you for your help, Lisa
