Kristen Stewart rules out 'Dragon Tattoo'

Kristen Stewart has ruled herself out of starring in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

The Eclipse actress told MTV that her forthcoming roles in On The Road and Breaking Dawn will likely mean that she won't be in contention to star in David Fincher's adaptation of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy.

She said: "I think I'm going to be working. I'm booked for, like, the next six months, but it's an incredible project. I hope someone really cool does it, because I can't wait to see it. But I don't know if it's going to be me."

Stewart admitted that she has not held any meetings with director Fincher, adding: "I'm working, and he's really busy."

Asked if a delay for Dragon Tattoo could put her back in the running, she replied: "Who knows? Movies push all the time."

Carey Mulligan, Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley have also been linked to the role of bisexual hacker Lisbeth Salander, while Daniel Craig is reportedly in talks to star as journalist Mikael Blomkvist.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo has already been made into a Swedish-language thriller and two sequels, The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest, are due for release.

Sandler: 'It's no reunion with Spade, Rock'

Adam Sandler has admitted that it is not much of a reunion co-starring with David Spade, Rob Schneider and Chris Rock because they visit each other often.

The Grown Ups star has insisted that if he did have a reunion with his pals, it would be similar to one in his new comedy.

The 43-year-old told Teen Hollywood: "I would like to do this sort of reunion if I was having one, hanging out at a house and do fun stuff on a lake. That's a good place for it.

"In real life it's not much of a reunion [between Adam, David Spade, Rob Schneider and more] because we see each other enough. It's not like this gang hasn't seen each other in thirty years. We see each other a lot and in fact I see my friends from growing up a lot. There's no reunions in my life. I see everybody too much."

As for visiting his high school friends, Sandler added: "Every time I go back to New Hampshire to see my family I see my buddies. They hear I'm in town and they show up to the house and Chris Rock, when he's in LA I see him and I see Kevin [James] all the time. I see Spade whenever I can and [Rob] Schneider I see a lot, too."

Grown Ups is currently playing in US cinemas and opens in the UK on August 6.

Sandler praises 'Grown Ups' co-stars

Adam Sandler has praised David Spade, Kevin James, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider as all being equally funny.

The Grown Ups star has insisted that it’s difficult to choose the funniest co-star because they are all witty and comical in their own unique way.

Sandler told Teen Hollywood: "Everyone has their own thing. I'll tell you that Spade is incredibly funny. He drops the most destruction bombs on you. He's quick as hell. Everybody has their moments.

"KJ [Kevin James] is incredibly funny and has different ways of being funny in conversation. When KJ texts me I laugh like a baboon for like five minutes alone and I don't write that LOL thing because I'm a comedian and I think that other comedians will go, 'Are you f**king kidding me? You wrote LOL?' So I just write back, 'Good one!'

"Rock is one of the funniest guys I've ever seen in my life with just summing up something and just having a different slant on it where you're just like, 'That is amazingly accurate and I can't believe that I've never said that out loud or never even thought that', but he makes you think."

Sandler added: "For the record Schneider is one of the funniest guys you'll ever meet. He's ridiculously fast and funny."

Grown Ups is currently playing in US cinemas and opens in the UK on August 6.

Kristen Stewart struggling to make 'K-11'

Kristen Stewart has admitted that she's having difficulty getting her mother's screenplay made into a movie.

The 20-year-old told Entertainment Weekly: "I still can't get K-11 made because I'm playing a boy in it. If I were playing a pretty girl, it would be done already.

Hardy reveals 'Mad Max 4' details

Inception star Tom Hardy has revealed details of the upcoming fourth film in the Mad Max series.

The 32-year-old actor, who will play the title role in Mad Max: Fury Road, explained to Collider how the new instalment will link to the three previous Mel Gibson-led films that were released throughout the 1970s and 1980s.

"It’s a relaunch and revisit to the world," Hardy told. "An entire restructuring.

"That’s not to say that it’s not picking up or leaving off from the Mad Max you know already, but it’s a nice retake on the entire world using the same character, depositing him in the same world but bringing him up to date by 30 years.”

Although Hardy declined to announce when filming would begin, he did reveal that he is currently training in preparation for the role.

He said: "I’m meant to drop 30 pounds so smoking and one meal a day is my training at the moment.

"I’m going to start fighting soon... as we get close to the line. I’ll probably get three or four months of fight training out there, seven days a week, all that kind of horrible s**t."

Hardy also described his take on the character as somewhat animalistic, comparing his portrayal to a puma that is "very hungry and very dangerous".

Other stars attached to the film include Charlize Theron and former Skins star Nicholas Hoult.
