LaBeouf: 'Transformers 3 will be best yet'
Shia LaBeouf has claimed that the third Transformers movie will be the best of the series.
Speaking to The AP, the actor revealed that the film's script will restore the human relationship elements that he believes were lost in the second movie.
"When I saw the second movie, I wasn't impressed with what we did. There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone," the 23-year-old said.
He added: "We tried to get bigger… [The director] Mike [Bay] went so big that it became too big, and I think you lost the anchor of the movie.
"You lost a bit of the relationships. Unless you have those relationships, then the movie doesn't matter. Then it's just a bunch of robots fighting each other."
LaBeouf also explained that the third instalment will feature many human casualties.
He continued: "It's going to be the craziest action movie ever made, or we failed."
Transformers 3 is scheduled to open in the US on July 1, 2011.
