Cheadle 'felt ridiculous in Iron Man'

Don Cheadle has admitted that his outfit for Iron Man 2 was "ridiculous".

The actor, who plays Lt. Col. James 'Rhodey' Rhodes, explained that the costume was extremely uncomfortable.

According to The Mirror, he said: "I was excited until I got it, then I was de-excited.

"Really, it's wearing a 50 pound piece of metal on your back and chest, and you can't touch your face, you can't go to the bathroom or sit down."

He continued: "[You feel] completely ridiculous. I don't know why my war machine suit was made of metal and Robert [Downey Jr.]'s was made of light fibreglass. Maybe it was an initiation."

However, Cheadle added that he loved working on the film, explaining: "It was cool. The thing about the film is that you get to play with the best toys and the best technology. It's just doing the things you like to do as a kid but fleshed out."

Stallone not making more 'Rambo'

Sylvester Stallone has revealed that he has abandoned plans to continue his Rambo action movie franchise.

Speaking to Empire Online, the actor said that he has scrapped plans for a fifth Rambo movie.

"I think Rambo’s pretty well done. I don’t think there'll be any more. I’m about 99% sure," the Expendables star said.

"I was going to do it... But for Rambo to go on another adventure might be, I think, misinterpreted as a mercenary gesture and not necessary. I don’t want that to happen."

The 63-year-old starred in and directed 2008's Rambo movie set in war-torn Burma.

"I'm very happy with the last Burmese episode, because I didn’t pull any punches on it. I wanted it to be what civil war really is - rough. You can’t candy-coat it, and where do you go from there?"

Marvel plan bigger role for Bucky

Bucky Barnes has been rumoured to have a greater movie role in Captain America than expected.

CHUD reports inside sources as saying that Captain America's sidekick may feature as the Winter Soldier, and possibly star in a sequel.

"The Captain America movie continuity is being developed to leave the door open for the Winter Soldier to appear, should there be a sequel," said CHUD.

"Bucky will be seemingly killed when Cap is frozen in ice, as he was in the original post-WWII Captain America stories, but he'll take on some serious injuries along the way, allowing him to show up again in the future with a cyborg arm.

"Previous thinking at Marvel Studios had Bucky surviving the war and meeting Cap in the modern day as an old man, which is how it happened in the Ultimate universe."

Sebastian Stan will appear as Bucky in The First Avenger: Captain America. It was reported that he had signed on to a multi-picture deal with Marvel.

Don Cheadle's War Machine in 'Avengers'?

Don Cheadle has confirmed that he is signed up to play Iron Man character Colonel James Rhodes, aka War Machine, in multiple sequels.

With Iron Man 2 currently in cinemas, Robert Downey Jr has said that a third Iron Man movie is likely to come after The Avengers, which is currently expected to arrive in May, 2012. When asked if he had been signed for multiple films, Cheadle told Newsarama: "Yeah, there are more. I don’t want to say the exact number but there are multiple ones.

“Quite honestly we wrapped the movie so long ago and if the next one were to happen, it’s going to happen after Thor, Captain America, and Robert is going to do another Sherlock Holmes so it’s going to be a minute.

He added: "It’s its own train on its own track so you just let that happen and go about your life until they come back and say let’s do another one."

Cheadle has previously said that there are no plans for a War Machine solo movie, though the character's co-creator Bob Layton said that Jim Rhodes has the potential to replace Tony Stark in the the Avengers line-up.

Sutherland: '24' movie is a fresh start'

Kiefer Sutherland has revealed that he is excited about working on a series of 24 movies.

Sutherland, who plays Jack Bauer in the television show, explained that the prospect of a film version made it easier for him to deal with the programme's cancellation.

Sutherland added: "[The movie is] going to be a real fresh start for us. It'll be the first time we're not doing it in real time. The film will be a two-hour representation of a 24-hour day, which alleviates the writers of the responsibility of writing in real time, which is unbelievably difficult."

The actor also revealed that preparations for the first 24 movie are going well.

"We just got a screenplay, we're working on that," he said. "It's in the proper stages and we can start to hopefully put together a production schedule... We've got our fingers crossed."
