ABC considers revamped 'Charlie's Angels' with Drew Barrymore



ABC is close to ordering a pilot for a modern version of Charlie’s Angels, Variety reports. Josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) will write and executive produce the modern Angels. Drew Barrymore, who starred in the recent Angels films, will also be on board, as will original series producer Leonard Goldberg. The original series ran from 1976-1981.

Heroes' star to produce new CW drama



Hayden Panettiere has signed up to executive produce a new medical drama for The CW.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HMS, which centres on a group of bright students at Harvard Medical School, has a young Grey's Anatomy vibe to it.

The project, from Warner Bros. TV, marks the producing debut for the 20-year-old Heroes actress.
