Boston’s Finest Premiered on TNT on February 27, 2013

Centering on the men and women of the Boston Police Department, Boston's Finest will offer viewers an up-close and very personal look at what it takes to protect and serve one of America's greatest and most distinctive cities.

Unlike many unscripted series about law enforcement, Boston's Finest will follow the fearless actions of the entire Boston Police Department, including beat officers, detectives, SWAT, fugitive and special task forces, as well as members of the highly decorated Gang Unit.

In addition to following the officers while they are on duty, Boston's Finest will provide a glimpse into their personal lives when they are off the clock and living in the same neighborhoods they protect each day. Viewers will also be introduced to the officers' families, who serve as their all-important support system.

Boston’s Finest not only celebrates the bravery of officers who risk their lives every day, but also showcases the heart and soul of one of the oldest and proudest police departments in the nation.

Jenn trying to stay in her nephew's life after her sister put him up for adoption was interesting and still hopes that she can help her sister turn things around was nice as her twin sister who's struggled with drug and the way they gave the fugitive a false sense of security was great

The Fugitive Unit search for a drug dealer was great as it was his girlfriend wearing a black wig gave him away

You can understand why things took a turn for the worse when the 20-year-old apparent gang member was shot execution-style and the coordinated raids were great

I'm impressed the police arranged for one of Victors family members to pick up his daughter after he was arrested and making sure the funeral went of relatively smoothly was nice

What a moron trying to move his car behind the crime scene tape with his gun on show and finding out he was the victims brother we can guess what he was going to do and I would of arrested the bus driver for tooting his horn while the police were about to surround the house

That would be scary finding himself staring at the wrong end of a gun a year ago so you can understand why the training is so important and you would think they would know better than to use the drugs they are selling while driving

Catching the guy who said he wouldn't go down without shooting the cops was impressive as there were no shots fired

Pursuing a rape suspect from a case dating back to 1992 was interesting as his DNA was collected from a random driving offence and Jenn's twin sister who has been battling addiction for years reaching out to her for help was nice

You can understand why the police were on tender hooks with the memories of the tragic marathon bombings still fresh in their minds and keeping everyone safe for the July 4th celebrations would be a long day

It must be frustrating for both the Gang and Fugitive units having to release the prime suspect while they gather more evidence but using his instinct to follow that car was great as they got their suspect in the end

The hunt for a suspect in a violent robbery was interesting as they were following his girlfriend in the hope she would lead them to him and with the wasted journey to hospital was unfortunate but getting him a week later was great

I'm not surprised that mutilation case had scared the victim into silence especially after loosing two fingers and Jenn stepping into the boxing ring for the first time to raise money was interesting but her mother not being able to get there was sad and to loose was a double blow, doing a drive buy ID parade was different but at leased they got their man
