Above Suspicion Premiered on ITV1 on January 04, 2009

Young Detective Constable Anna Travis joins the team led by D.C.I. Langton to investigate a series of gruesome murders of young women,which first began eight years previously. All the victims were prostitutes and all killed in the same way. Then a seventh body is found but this is the corpse of a student though a vital piece of evidence links her death to the others,involving a house in Manchester where Alan Daniels, a popular young actor,grew up. Anna goes undercover to get to know him better but finds herself getting emotionally involved.

I'm surprised this wasn't already here as the first three seasons were great and with season four staring at the usual time in the new year this should be another good season but it's a shame they are so short like Wallander

You can understand why Langton was pissed when Fitzpatrick escaped with his son and the drugs and Travis saying she loved him but being drowned out by the plane was probably for the best and Travis looking on the bright side saying at least he took the drugs with him and there not on our streets was novel

Fitzpatrick getting away last season cost Langton his promotion so working on the murder case of Amanda Delaney who was a famous, beautiful and sought-after film star was a great way to find out who dropped him in it on the last case

I have a felling that Amanda’s old housemates are hiding something especially after overhearing about how much the book deal might be worth but with another girl from the flat turning up dead the finale episode should be great, Amanda’s father is also suspicious and Langton asking Travis outright about his failed promotion was interesting

Being done for shoplifting when she had £5000 in her bag was a little corny considering they had only just put out a bulletin for her arrest but what she did to Travis when she ended up following her own instincts independent of the rest of the team was diabolical but she was lucky she was only badly bruised and nice twist about the Fitzpatrick case which cost Langton his promotion
