About the Show:
Free Agents focuses on Alex (Hank Azaria) who is recently divorced and Helen (Kathryn Hahn), who lost her fiance many years ago. The two of them work for a PR company and have no intentions or readiness to jump back into the dating pool again. However, they find themselves in bed with each other. Despite the encounter, they say that they want to remain friends, but always find a way to get back into bed together no matter how hard Helen pushes away. Meanwhile, the office tries to hook Alex up with dates and get him back in the game. Stephen (Anthony Head) is their boss and keeps trying to convince Alex to be his new wing man. When Alex goes on a date, Helen realizes that she is jealous and they find that they keep sleeping with one another because of it.

Episode 1: Pilot
Alex is newly-divorced and trying to hold it together at work. His co-worker Helen lost her fiancé a year ago and while she thinks she has it together, she’s on emotional thin ice. When they end up in bed together, the aftermath isn’t pretty and they decide to remain friends…or so they think. As the two try to sort out their casual, intimate and beautifully awkward relationship, they are surrounded by an office full of crazy colleagues, including their boss Stephen, Dan, Gregg and Emma as well as office security guard Walter

Episode 2: What I Did for Work
Stephen asks Alex to entertain a client who is thinking of leaving and when he needs to find female companionship, he turns to Dan. Emma has a thing for a man who works in another office and Helen tries to help her.

Episode 3: Dr. Hu
When a client is amused by Emma's outspoken irreverence in a meeting, Stephen decides she must help with the big campaign pitch presentation. As Emma immerses herself in the preparation, commandeering the staff and the conference room, Alex struggles to deal with the unpleasant development. Meanwhile, Helen takes Alex's advice to visit his therapist, the handsome Dr. Hu, but she finds herself thinking she would rather date him than see him professionally.

Episode 4: Rebranding
When longtime Hale Dayton client Fred Potter, is caught in an extra-marital tryst, the team sets to work on damage control. As Stephen and Helen mastermind the response for the client, Dan, Gregg and Emma help Helen in a rebranding campaign of another sort, setting Alex up with a slick online profile and a cute new date.
