Spun Out Premiered on CTV on March 06, 2014
The multi-cam workplace comedy
SPUN OUT stars Dave Foley (KIDS IN THE HALL, NEWS RADIO), as Dave Lyons, the patriarchal boss of a fledging PR firm staffed with people who can spin everyone’s problems but their own. There’s Beckett (Paul Campbell, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA), a struggling writer who landed at the public relations firm after suffering his own PR disaster, and Nelson (Al Mukadam, RADIO FREE ROSCOE), Beckett’s lifelong friend and spin expert, along with the boss’s daughter Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton, THE L.A. COMPLEX). There’s also loyal but self-important office nerd Bryce (J.P. Manoux, COMMUNITY), and Gordon (Darcy Michael, Rapture-Palooza), the guy at work who always seems like he’s about to be fired and finally, Beckett’s sassy ex-girlfriend Abby (Holly Deveaux, LESS THAN KIND). Leading them all is the face of the firm, Dave Lyons (Dave Foley), who may be brilliant at his job, but is more interested in being the preening peacock who goes to lavish galas than supervising the daily goings-on of the company. No matter how bizarre the cases are that the agency takes on, they pale in comparison to the workplace romances, rivalries, personal successes, and often hilarious failures of the close-knit and dysfunctional colleagues at DLPR.
