Bones Season 1-10 General Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

I didn't really love this episode. I was really excited about the spin off, but now not so much. It looked like it was just making it all look stupid and crazy. I'll give it another try once it comes out, but I'm not that excited anymore.
But the guy saying that Bones might be the one was funny

I am pretty sure they are thinking about it, since Bones and Booth were only in about 1/4 of the show and the finders where in the rest, which is the first time the focus was off the two leads.  It was cool to see Danny Trejo (Machete)

They are. I saw Michael Clarke Duncan on a chat show talking about it.  I think it would be a pretty good show, and I liked the characters.  There's a lot of room for character development and story telling with them.

Yea, find something that that was the backdoor pilot, hopefully, though the episode was down in ratings, it won't stop it from being made.  It is based off the Locater series by author Richard Greener

This episode still did a 3.2 rating in 18-49 category with 11 million viewers.

The episode did the shows average 18-49 rating this season which is all the networks care about really.

This felt like the introduction to the spin off project with the focus away from Bones and Booth but delivering Brittany's killer in a trunk was amusing

The Pinocchio in the Planter

The honesty policy didn't go exactly to plan but few of them got what they wanted out doing it

See everyone says they want honesty, but no one really does.

It's hard to believe the lawyer thought he could get away with the fake x ray and there's a lot to be said about honesty

euhm, he did in the past and if Brennan wasn't such a great doctor, he would have again.

The Signs in the Silence

First time bones actually cared and what interesting case having examine alive body i am glad they managed reunited the girl with her real parent but one question why would they kidnap a deaf kid?

TOP

If she is that young, it 's not always obvious that they are just quiet or really is deaf and can't talk. Especially if it is a crime of opportunity (when they didn't observe her before). And after a kidnapping, it is strange to bring her back

I throughly enjoyed the episode.  Great depth with Bones.  At the beginning she was more like the first few seasons and as the episode developed we saw her connect emotionally.  Great job!!

Hodgens was Funny!!

Pretty much what arksongbird80 said.  I liked this episode, liked that they didn't get into the Bones/Booth will they-won't they for at least one episode.

Kidnapping her as a three year old the deafness wouldn't of been obvious and Booth punching him after he hit his wife was great but using her tooth to find out where she grew up was impressive

The Hole in the Heart

I can't believe they killed Vincent

Yea that was a little raw, though for a bit there, I really thought it was going to be Angela, with all the focus of her walking down the street.  So out of the two, rather see Vincent go then Angela

I kind of knew they wouldn't kill of Angela, but I'm glad it wasn't her (or Sweets, cause I was worried for him) and I liked the new police girl so I was worried for her as well, but that turned out ok.
Bones and Booth ending up on his bed was a bit predictable when he told her she was staying at his apartment. But it didn't look like Booth was doing more then hold her and then Brennan telling Angela in the lab made it seem like more had happened so I'm a bit confused.
But the ending was great!

I agree entirely!!  Did they finally consummate their relationship or was it just a sleep incident?

It took me awhile to figure out Vincent was his first name and Nigel Murray was his last night.  I thought they were calling him by first and last the whole time.  Really sad ot see him go, but I thought it would be sweets, so really glad it was a squintern.  That's a couple squints we've gotten rid of now....they are expendable I guess.

Killing Vincent was tragic but i thought Booth would feel guilty because he asked him to answer the phone and Angela telling Jack to leave so she could get the gossip from Bones was amusing
