Broadchurch Premiered on ITV on March 04, 2013

Broadchurch is a crime drama series starring David Tennant, Olivia Colman and Pauline Quirke. DI Alec Hardy is an out-of-town, newly promoted police detective who takes the job local girl DS Ellie Miller believes should have been hers. Danny Latimer has been discovered dead on an beach surrounded by rocks and a jutting cliff-face from where he may have fallen. The seaside town of Broadchurch becomes the centre of a major police investigation and a national media frenzy.

Beth not realising her son Danny was missing until she was at his sports day and he was nowhere to be found was interesting as getting stuck in a traffic jam and hearing a body had been found on the beach she knew it was her 11 year old son, Danny which was horrific and how insensitive of the journalism to release his name

The family doing a list of all the people they think could of killed their son was interesting as they were all so called friends and finding all that money in Danny's room was a surprise, looks like they have found the murder scene but who's prints were found wasn't who I expected

Mark deserved getting arrested for wasting police time with his false alibi but his daughter sending a text to his mistress was ironic as he thought nobody knew

The locals complaining about how long it's taking is ironic as they all look and act guilty and with none of them being cooperative with the investigation what do they expect but the newspaper article was bound to cause a stir

Ellie's sister saying she will only tell her what she seen the day Danny died if she borrows her a £1000 was diabolical and I'm not surprised she slammed the door on her, Beth going after Mark's mistress was interesting and Mark giving Jack a chance to explain was nice but he's right in telling him to leave as he's not safe and was that suicide or murder for Jack

Why Susan would give Tom Danny's skateboard when she knew his mother was D.S. Miller was bizarre and she must of known the police would come after her

Susan saying she is Nigel's mother after she said he was the one who put Danny's body on the beach was surprising and him ringing Mark was interesting as he's Danny's father

Wow what a conclusion to the case with all the possible suspects it had to be Ellie's husband Joe considering she was investigating the case and I hope the back lash don't effect his family

Joe pleading not guilty was a little surprising as I thought he would protect the killer and as in Gracepoint they made it obvious the death was a accident and who was responsible

Claire being in witness protection when her ex has her new number is a waste of time and the fact she is close just makes things worse but you had to fell sorry for Beth being questioned about her husband, loosing the confession was bound to happen after Ellie attacked him while in custody

Looks like Alec stuffed up big time thinking it was Claire's husband as she hadn't told him the whole truth and Beth giving Ellie a hard time even after helping get home to deliver her baby was understandable but Ellie being accused of having an affair with Alec was a dirty trick

Claire's husband delivering takeaway was amusing as Alec told her not to open the door to anyone and about time Ellie's son turned up as he was Danny's best friend, Nigel being identified by his mother as the one who put Danny's body on the beach was surprising
