Angelina Jolie to return for 'Wanted 2'?

Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov has claimed that he has devised a way to bring Angelina Jolie back for a sequel.

Jolie's assassin Fox dies at the end of the 2008 comic book adaptation, but the Russian-Kazakh filmmaker revealed to MTV that he will resurrect the character for the planned follow-up.

"If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax," he said. "We know how to do this, but it's still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head."

He continued: "There has to be a reason for her to come back... and we know the reason. I think we found the reason for her to come back."

Wanted, based on the Mark Millar comic series, starred James McAvoy as an office worker who discovers that he is the son of a notorious assassin.

Kristen Stewart "intimidated" by 'New Moon'

Kristen Stewart has admitted that she was "intimidated" by the prospect of filming the sequel to vampire blockbuster Twilight.

The actress, who plays Bella Swan in the franchise, told MTV News that the upcoming New Moon embodies a "heightened sense of reality" because of a difficult love triangle.

"It's like, people don't just break up - they break up and it literally kills you," she explained.

"It's not like you just say, 'Oh, I'm really depressed and crying'. Everything is supposed to be a fantasy version of that. So I always had a really hard time figuring out, 'Am I doing enough? Do I look like I'm going to die?'"

She added: "I think it's the one book in the series that I was intimidated by - in a good way. That's the best feeling to start a movie with.

"Probably, my favourite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], 'It's him, it's always been him!' Like, I have to say that. Yeah, it killed me, it killed me."

New Moon arrives in cinemas in November.

Adam Sandler: 'Oral sex made us laugh'

Adam Sandler has said that his Funny People sex scene with director Judd Apatow's wife Leslie Mann prompted laughter during filming.

Speaking at the UK press conference for the film, the actor said that the set for the movie was loose and fun but also controlled.

When asked which scenes caused the most amusement among the cast, Mann said: "During our lovemaking scene... the cunnilingus."

Sandler said: "That was fun. Cunnilingus? That's what they call it nowadays? I didn't even know. There was nervous laughter when Judd said, 'Please eat out my wife'. Everybody laughed and laughed.

"We had a loose set, fun set, but it was very concentrated. Apatow was on a mission to make a very important movie to his life and we were all on a mission to make sure he got it accomplished."

He added: "There was improv, but it wasn't like we were goofy and saying let me try this, this and that. Judd was very focused about where he wanted the scenes to go and how he wanted to get there.

"He gave us a lot of options and a lot of different lines and of course we all came up with our own stuff on occasion. If it fit we were happy and if it didn't then he'd guide us in a different direction. It wasn't a free-for-all."

DiCaprio 'told to lose weight for film'

Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly embarked on a new diet and exercise regime in order to lose 30lbs for his new film.

The actor was apparently told to get in shape for a fight sequence in Inception, a movie about an office worker involved in a blackmail scandal.

According to Radar Online, an insider said: "Leonardo needs to shed at least 30lbs. He's gained weight recently and looks almost a bit flabby, which isn't good, especially as the camera adds pounds."

The source continued: "There's an action scene coming up at the end of the year in which he needs to appear emaciated, so the pressure is on. He is following a strict diet and is embarking on a rigourous workout regime.

"Leonardo is a pretty determined kind of guy, when he sets his mind to things he always achieves them. Though this is going to be hard for him, you can guarantee he'll succeed."

Spielberg eyes Crichton's 'Pirate Latitudes'

Steven Spielberg is reportedly keen on making a movie based on Michael Crichton's posthumously published novel Pirate Latitudes.

According to USA Today, the director has tapped David Koepp, the writer behind the Spielberg-Crichton Jurassic Park collaborations, to pen Latitudes.

The story centres on pirates planning to attack Port Royal and raid a treasure-filled Spanish galleon.

Discussing his plans for Latitudes and working relationship with Crichton, Spielberg said: "Michael wrote a real page-turner that already seems suited for the big screen. Michael and I have had almost two decades of solid collaborations. Whenever I made a film from a Michael Crichton book or screenplay, I knew I was in good hands. Michael felt the same, and we like to think he still does."

Stacey Snider, Spielberg's DreamWorks partner, added: "It's a mission movie, and we see it through the prism of what it might have been like to live on the island during that time. Anything that Michael wrote, Steven would be keenly interested to read. But without Michael knowing it, or even me knowing it, it turns out Steven always wanted to direct his own pirate film."

The Pirate Latitudes novel will be released on November 24. Crichton passed away last year at the age of 66. His books Congo and Disclosure were also adapted for the screen.

'90210' star 'lost Twilight role over accent'

90210 star Dustin Milligan has joked that he failed to win the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight because he does not have a British accent.

The actor, who plays Ethan Ward in the CW drama, admitted to Access Hollywood that he had auditioned for the part of the brooding vampire before it was eventually won by Robert Pattinson.

"The first [audition] I did was with [director] Catherine Hardwicke and I went in there and did my best Edward Cullen," he explained.

"Unfortunately I didn't have a British accent. So I didn't get the job!"

Describing how women react to Pattinson's real-life British accent, he said: "It's like, boom! Ladies love that. Melt!"

Milligan can next be seen alongside Jason Bateman and Mila Kunis in the comedy Extract, which opens in the US next week.

Willis denies owing career to parents

Rumer Willis has said that she doesn't owe her blossoming acting career to her famous parents.

The Sorority Row star, who recently celebrated her 21st birthday in Las Vegas, claimed that having Demi Moore and Bruce Willis as her mum and dad helps secure auditions, but never guarantees her a role.

"You can't do anything about who your parents are," she said. "I think everyone has opportunities and everyone has doors that are open to them in different ways. If you're talented you'll get work."

She continued: "If you suck then you won't. In the end, talent is all that matters because you could go and get an audition, but if you go in there and you suck you're not going to get a job.

"In terms of my parents, they let me make my own way. They've just been entirely supportive and extremely great in that way so I couldn't ask for anything better."

Sorority Row is out in September.

Helen Mirren signs for 'Brighton Rock'

Helen Mirren has signed up to star in the remake of classic British crime drama Brighton Rock.

The original 1947 film starred a young Richard Attenborough as criminal Pinkie Brown, who is forced to marry a waitress when she stumbles on a murder linked to his gang. Control's Sam Riley is in the lead role, with Andrea Riseborough playing his wife Rose.

Pete Postlethwaite has also joined the cast as Phil Cokery, the husband of Mirren's Ida, who wants to save Rose from Pinkie.

Screenwriter Rowan Joffe (28 Weeks Later) is making his directoral debut on the movie.

"We're making Brighton Rock as contemporary as we possibly can because the story feels 'modern'. It's too alive, too vibrant and too relevant to be contained in the late '30s," Joffe told Screen Daily.

Optimum Releasing and BBC Films are behind the remake, which begins production in London and Brighton on October 18.

Downey Jr: 'Bromance is a passé term'

Robert Downey Jr has insisted that "bromance" is the wrong term to describe his new film Sherlock Holmes.

The actor is currently shooting director Guy Ritchie's adaptation of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story, while the filmmaker is said to have written the sleuth as gay.

The Iron Man star recently revealed that he and Jude Law, who co-stars as his sidekick Watson, share a great screen chemistry.

Downey told MTV: "I think bromance is passé. We are two men who happen to be roommates who wrestle a lot!"

Law added: "You could say this is a buddy film. Whether [Holmes and Watson] will or won't stay together and whether they will or won't drive each other around the bend before the end of the case is very much front and centre in the story."

Ritchie explained that the detectives are more like an old married couple, saying: "As a heterosexual couple that at moments could seem gay, they play it off very well. These guys are sort of in love with each other. It's real mate-ship."

US film critic Michael Medved earlier claimed that the gay element of the movie will not be "appealing" to audiences.

Sherlock Holmes will be released in cinemas on December 26.
