What is it about?
Two years after Katrina, parts of the city are still in chaos, but hope has emerged. Battling an upsurge of violence, under-staffing of police forces and a lack of crime labs and other facilities, the cops who remain in the New Orleans Police Department have courage to burn and a passion to reclaim and rebuild their city.

Marlin Boulet is a brash, wry, in-your-face veteran of the NOPD’s Felony Action Squad, the specialized unit that targets the most-wanted criminals. Even when his partner deserted him during the storm, Boulet held his post, spending days in the water saving lives and keeping order. Now, two years later, he’s unapologetic about bending the rules when it comes to collaring bad guys. The stakes are too high, and the city too fragile, for him to do things by the book.

Boulet’s new partner, Trevor Cobb, was a soldier in Afghanistan before joining the NOPD. He’s tough and committed; but if he’s less than comfortable with Boulet’s methods, it’s because he’s harboring a dark secret. Cobb has come to New Orleans seeking redemption, but redemption can be dangerous.

Rounding out the crew are wisecracking Jeff “GLUE BOY” Gooden, the team’s comic relief; tough-as-nails Ginger “LOVE TAP” LeBeau, the only female on the squad; and Captain James Embry, who wrangles the eclectic personalities of his squad with equal parts humor and tenacity.

Episode -1 - Pilot
An unlikely duo, Marlin Boulet and Trevor Cobb, take the streets of New Orleans, battling a surge of violence while lacking the basics, including a large force and crime labs. Only few cops remain after Katrina, but those who remain have a strong passion to rebuild and protect the city they love.

Episode 2 - Cobb's Web
A jailbreak thrusts the NOPD cops into a manhunt in which unconventional means leads Cobb and Boulet to the Louis Armstrong Airport. There, obstacles get in the way of their search and Cobb is tested. Meanwhile, Embry and Boulet deal with the frustration surrounding Criminal Sheriff Terrence DeVille.

Episode 3 - Bedfellows
Boulet and Cobb search for the person who murdered the former New Orleans District Attorney. Their investigaton takes them to an upscale brothel and a suspect very familiar to Captain James Embry.

Episode - 4 - No Good Deed
Boulet and Cobb learn secrets about a woman's past that lead them to her killer, a jealous ex who tried to make the death look like voodoo. As they investigate, parts of Cobb's past are also revealed.

Episode 5 - Critical Mass
Boulet and Cobb are working on a Sunday morning when they respond to a shots fired call. On the scene at a church still recovering from flooding caused by Katrina, parishioners are singing harmoniously as if nothing has happened. It appears the Deacon has been murdered, but church-going witnesses are not talking. Boulet grew up in this church, and this investigation dredges up his past and makes it personal. Meanwhile, Cobb, Love Tap and Glue Boy piece together clues taking this case into unpredictable directions.

Episode - 6 AKA
Cobb feels responsible when he allows an suspect to injury Glue Boy . To make amends, he goes undercover and reconnects with his former criminal associates.et.

Episode 7 - Melissa   
A plastic surgeon is murdered and it's up to Cobb and Boulet to find the killer.

Episode 8 - Flood, Wind, and Fire  
Boulet and Cobb investigate the death of an insurance adjuster, who's body is found in an area that is still has remaining flood waters.

Episode 9 - Boulet in a China Shop  
While out one night unwinding at a karaokee bar, the NOPD gets word of a crime being committed and an upscale shop. A local criminal is running a racketeering operation with the local business and Boulet and Cobb set out to stop him.

Episode 10 - Ride Along  
In the first season's fall finale, a reporter from New York is in for more than she bargains for when she rides along with Boulet and Cobb, that involves a brutal shooting investigation.
