Fresh Meat Premiered on Channel 4 on September 21, 2011

From the award-winning creators of Peep Show, Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong, and with a brilliant young cast, Fresh Meat is Channel 4's latest comedy drama series (8 x 45'), currently filming on location in Manchester for autumn tx.

The series follows a group of six students about to embark on the most exciting period of their lives thus far - University! Away from home for the first time, on the brink of adult life, they are about to discover who they really are. From the moment they ship up as freshers at their shared house, their lives are destined to collide, overlap and run the whole gamut of appalling behaviour and terrible errors of judgement.

They are: JP (Jack Whitehall), public school boy with good teeth and an inflated sense of entitlement; Kingsley (Joe Thomas), charming, loveable and crushingly insecure; Josie (Kimberley Nixon), overly enthusiastic, determined to experience ‘new things', however bad they are for you. Then there's socially awkward and know-it-all Howard (Greg McHugh); straight talking, hard-living Vod (Zawe Ashton); and finally Oregon (Charlotte Ritchie), desperate to be cool and terrified of being boring. The cast also includes Robert Webb as the university's geology tutor.

Josie think she's picking up a one night stand but turns out he will be a room mate was amusing and what he called the hole in the wall was funny because she didn't know what it meant

JP is real idiot with his posh accent and I'm not surprised the girls left their own party to go elsewhere but lying about having a car was amusing and being sick in the saucepan was disgusting but Howard being asked to pretend to be Vod's partner was just ridiculous

Vod and Howard going on a blind date was amusing considering it turned out to be with each other and having to put the stolen noodles back was ridiculous but Josie being annoyed that she was stood up was funny until she googled him and found out she wasn't stood up because he was dead which she was happy that she wasn't stood up not thinking about him dying and Oregon and Prof Shales's flirting was terrible

Kingsley admitting to Josie that he is a virgin was interesting and after telling the girl she offers to change that status for him which was a surprise but the way she told him was amusing and if Josie only knew he lost his virginity earlier i think she would kill him

The way Josie found out about Kingsley's two-timing was amusing but he was brave shouting it out to everyone at the march and Vod finding out that Oregon is secretly having an affair with Shales was interesting

It took them long enough to ring for help after Vod had a drug overdose and Josie accepts Dave's offer of marriage after what she said earlier was a surprise but JP high on acid was disturbing

Dave fixing the dishwasher has put him in everyone's good book except for Kingsley because he is jealous but Dave finding out that Josie had slept with him and JP was a disaster and Mrs Professor Shales thinking her husband is having an affair but with Vod and not Oregon was amusing

Josie's booze and sex fest looked like it was to get Kingsley jealous but when he finally decides to make a move on Josie after the party he was too late

Josie becoming friends with Heather was interesting considering Heather spent the night with Kingsley and I cant believe Oregon is working for Tony's wife, how JP didn't know his friend, Giles was gay was bizarre but Sabine moving in when nobody wants her to move in is going to be awkward

Vod forgetting to turn the vacuum on was amusing considering she had her headphones on so loud she couldn't tell and JP using a rape alarm as a bell when he was in bed with a bad dose of the mumps was crazy but putting his sperm in the ice cube tray was discussing and he deserved what happened

I'm not surprised Vod fired Josie after sleeping five hours on the job and what Vod did at the oil convention was a surprise

It's a good job JP invited the gang to stay at his country house that weekend as his mother had just sold it but what an impressive place and Sabine making Howard an offer he can't refuse when her sex buddy didn't arrive was priceless as he also missed his call
