Ugly Betty Aired From September 28, 2006 - April 14, 2010 On ABC.

In the superficial world of high fashion, image is everything. Styles come and go, and the only constants are the superthin beauties who wear them. How can an ordinary girl - a slightly plump plain-Jane from Queens - possibly fit in?

The Plot:
If you took a moment to get to know Betty Suarez, you'd see how sweet, intelligent and hard-working she is. But few people do, because in the world of high fashion Betty is the oversized peg in the petite round hole. When publishing mogul Bradford Meade hands the reigns of Mode, the bible of the fashion industry, over to this son, Daniel, he specifically hires Betty as his son's new assistant - mostly because she's the only woman in NYC Daniel won't sleep with. Though this "player" is reluctant to accept her at first, Betty's indomitable spirit and bright ideas will eventually win him over. Neither of them really knows the ins and outs of the fashion world, but the two are a formidable team against those who will do anything to see them fall.

And they really are swimming with the sharks. Diva fashionista Wilhelmina Slater is incensed that Bradford Meade passed her over and promoted Daniel to the coveted job after the mysterious death of Mode's legendary editress, Fey Sommers. Wilhelmina, along with toadying assistant Marc and scheming receptionist Amanda, are out to sabotage Daniel and Betty any chance they get. Betty finds a friend in warm-hearted Christina, who works as the magazine's in-house seamstress and seems to know everything about everybody who works there.

Away from work, Betty's home life is far from glamorous. Dad Ignacio and her sister, Hilda, worry that she's just setting herself up for a fall, while nephew Justin encourages his aunt to dream big (even if he's aghast at her fashion sense). Nerdy boyfriend Walter, who unceremoniously dumped Betty, keeps turning up despite her attempts to get him to stay away.

    Episode 1x01 - Pilot [Series Premiere]
      

Betty has always dreamed of working in the publishing world, but it seems as though there's no place for the non-thin and non-beautiful in the business. People already have their minds set in the idea that beautiful women are only the thin and perfect! Betty really wants a job in that wonderful, yet cruel, world. But can she really find a place in it?

    Episode 1x02 - The Box and the Bunny
        

Betty loses a book, which is the complete new edition of the magazine and is containing un-retouched photos of a popular actress. She has to find the book before the photos get out to the rest of the press. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina plots to use the snafu to bring Daniel down and Bradford Meade secretively inquires about Fey Sommers' final effects.

    Episode 1x03 - Queens for a Day   
        

Betty uses her Queens connections to lure big time photographer Vincent Bianchi to shoot for the magazine. When Bianchi insists that Betty meet him at a posh restaurant, she gets a makeover but things don't quite turn out as planned. In the mean time, Bradford tries to get his hands on Fey Sommers' death car and Wilhelmina primps for a big date.

    Episode 1x04 - Fey's Sleigh Ride
        

After Mode is forced to abandon its big Christmas photo shoot because another magazine has copied the idea, Betty forms an uneasy alliance with Marc and Amanda. The three fear they may have leaked the idea to someone at the rival mag. Meanwhile, Daniel and Wilhelmina reluctantly work together to come up with a new photo spread as Mode's deadline looms, and Betty's nephew, Justin, is oblivious to the turmoil as he spends a day at the magazine for a class project.

    Episode 1x05 - The Lyin', the Watch and the Wardrobe  
        

It's Halloween and Betty is in for a series of frightful experiences, ranging from showing up dressed for the Mode costume contest until she learns that there isn't one, to dealing with her growing attraction to Henry, and tracking down a watch Daniel left at one of his many girlfriends' apartments, but can't remember which one. Meanwhile, Daniel pays a visit to his mom in rehab, and Wilhelmina is horrified to learn that she can't fit into a designer gown.

    Episode 1x06 - Trust, Lust and Must  
        

Wilhelmina deals with the strong character of her daughter while Betty and Hilda try to gather $20,000 to save their father from deportation.

    Episode 1x07 - After Hours
        

Betty takes a break from her escalating family troubles when she's assigned to review a posh new hotel. Meanwhile, Daniel is dismayed when Sofia Reyes and her team take up residence in the Mode conference room, and Wilhelmina goes a little bit country to woo a mega rich Texan to advertise his stores in Mode.

    Episode 1x08 - Four Thanksgivings and a Funeral
        

To his dismay, Daniel must attend his family's Thanksgiving gathering at the Country Club. Meanwhile, Amanda and Marc create their own gathering at Mode and there is also a dinner at Betty's house where Santos, Justin's father, is in attendance. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina also hosts a Thanksgiving dinner as well but her feast doesn't look as good as it does in magazine pictures.

    Episode 1x09 - Lose the Boss?  
        

Betty is left alone during an important photo shoot during which the photographer, Bruno, has come up with questionable concepts. Meanwhile, Daniel wants people to believe he is a family man, Mr. Green interrogates a mortician about the remains of a client and Ignacio gets in trouble with Immigration and Customs.

    Episode 1x10 - Fake Plastic Snow
        

While everyone at Mode is celebrating Christmas, Betty is questioning her relationship with Walter and the feelings she has for Henry. Meanwhile, Daniel is sure of his love for Sofia, and Amanda, in order to get Betty's position, is planning a perfect Mode holiday party that fills the office with Styrofoam snow and holiday wishes.

    Episode 1x11 - Swag  
        

Christina's swag lottery, with the Mode closet clothes and accessories, creates a feeding frenzy among the office fashionistas, while Betty wears herself out helping Daniel who had his credit card cut off, because of a $20,000 expense report that Betty filled and who was rejected, making it impossible for him to wine and dine an important Japanese designer, Oshi.

    Episode 1x12 - Sofia's Choice  
        

Betty meets a look-a-like -- Ruthie, an editorial assistant at MYW Magazine who dresses and looks like her. Meanwhile, Daniel is in for a surprising revelation from Sofia that leaves everyone stunned.

    Episode 1x13 - In or Out
        

While Daniel is still suffering from his break up with Sofia, Betty is doing her best to get him back to work and over Sofia. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina decides who will continue to work at Mode once her ambitions to be named Editor-in-Chief are realized.

    Episode 1x14 - I'm Coming Out
        

Betty has her job cut out for her getting prepared for Mode's huge event during New York City's Fashion Week. Meanwhile, Marc and Amanda can't delay getting their hands on something everybody desires, Christina wishes to create her mark in the design world and Daniel calls for Hilda to grant her sister a hand.

    Episode 1x15 - Brothers
        

Alexis' shocking announcement causes great commotion at both Mode and the Meade home. Betty tries to maintain the peace and order at Mode, however, she is about to face her own personal turmoil when Henry asks her out on a date and Walter tells her he's got a big surprise in store. Meanwhile, Whilhelmina plots her next move to conquer Mode and Justin gets sent home from school for fighting.

    Episode 1x16 - Derailed
        

Daniel reconnects with Grace Chin, a girl he once stood up for a date in college, and who is now New York City's top lawyer. Meanwhile, Betty befriends Charlie, an out-of-towner she meets at the Mode cafeteria, whom she later discovers to be Henry's girlfriend.

    Episode 1x17 - Icing on the Cake
        

Daniel keeps secret from Alexis the fact that he is the one who hired Grace to defend their father, something which Wilhelmina uses to bring the siblings apart. Meanwhile, when invited by Henry to Charlie's birthday party, a desperate Betty asks Dr. Farkas, her orthodontist, to be her date. Finally, Amanda catches the eye of an unusual designer who claims that she is his muse.

    Episode 1x18 - Don't Ask, Don't Tell
        

Betty is in for some wild drama when Marc's mother stops by, given that the latter doesn't seem to know that her son is gay and Betty acts as his girlfriend to help him keep his secret. Meanwhile, Daniel and Alexis are forced to work together when Claire names them both co-editors-in-chief.

    Episode 1x19 - Punch Out  
        

The Meades are in for some troubling times when a tell-all writer in possession of Fey Sommer's diaries starts stalking the family. Meanwhile, Betty has a hard time getting Daniel focused on his work now that he has reverted back to his old ways with women. Finally, Wilhelmina and Alexis both try desperately to get a hold of Fey's diaries, but each with her own intentions.

    Episode 1x20 - Petra-gate  
        

After seeing her working relationship with Daniel, her close friendship with Christina, and her chance to date Henry all fall apart, Betty is left with no choice but to turn her back on all three. Meanwhile, romance is in the air: At MODE, Alexis catches the attention of a guy and he asks her out; Amanda flirts with a designer who she believes is gay; and Wilhelmina finds her latest advances very tiring. Over at the Suarez's, Santos gives Hilda a little surprise.

    Episode 1x21 - Secretaries Day
        

Betty struggles with a dilemma as she attempts to bail her family out of a financial crisis while juggling with the task of planning MODE's big assistants week at a medieval-themed restaurant...where Amanda's past ties to the establishment has a link and could come back to haunt her in a surprising way. On the romantic front involving the Meade siblings, Betty tries to give Daniel advice about his endless sexual addiction, while Alexis ponders about whether she should start taking up Rodrigo's offer. Meanwhile, Hilda prepares for her first exam to determine her future at cosmetology school as Wilhelmina prepares for her future plans to take over MODE as she makes even bolder moves for domination behind the scenes.

    Episode 1x22 - A Tree Grows in Guadalajara
        

The Suarez family travel to Mexico in a effort to help Ignacio obtain a US Visa and find out more about their true family roots, especially Ignacio's real identity.

   Episode 1x23 - East Side Story [Season Finale]
   

Betty and Henry's romance heats up. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina makes great strides in her ambitious power play, as Daniel descends further in a downward spiral. The Suarez family trip to Mexico takes a dangerous turn, with old ghosts creating new problems. Explosive secrets will be revealed, and everything will be tied together by a beloved Broadway musical.

Episode 2x01:  How Betty Got Her Greive Back
Betty's life is turned into turmoil after the numerous upsetting events that have recently occurred. Despite all this, she refuses to accept the fact that Henry's leaving has deeply affected her. Meanwhile, Amanda has a hard time coping with the news she recently discovered about who her real mother is and Wilhelmina plans to use all the recent tragedies to her advantage.

Episode 2x02: Family/Affair
Betty finds out a big secret about Wilhelmina's new bodyguard so Wilhelmina sets up a devil's bargain with Betty. Henry returns to work (for health insurance for his baby) and asks Betty if they can be friends. Because of the fatal crash, Alexis gets selective retro-grade amnesia and forgets that she had a sex change or any of the events with her parents. Bradford uses it to his advantage. Hilda comes to terms with recent events. Amanda gets a surprise inheritance from her late biological mother.

Episode 2x03:  Betty's Wait Problem
Even though Henry is kind of back in her life, Betty finds herself annoyed and yet intrigued by the new sandwich guy, Giovanni. Meanwhile, everyone at Mode prepare for the Meades' Black and White Ball. Wilhelmina tries to get her wedding back on track. Amanda prepares to make her first appearance as Fey Sommers' birth child and fugitive Claire Meade invites herself to Wilhelmina's wedding.

Episode 2x04:  Grin and Bear It
Betty gets into trouble in her writing class when she submits a pre-written MODE story written by a woman who survived a bear attack (hence the title). Alexis returns to work, still with memory loss and having no idea how to act like a girl. Daniel receives a threat from their top advertiser who is against transsexuals and wants Daniel to fire his own sister. Amanda, still trying to figure out who her real father is, learns a shocking secret about Wilhelmina's past.

Episode 2x05:  A League of their Own
Betty tries speed dating and she gets asked out; Marc attracts the attention of a photographer that Marc doesn't see as attracted; Wilhelmina tries to prove to the skeptical Daniel and Alexis that she can be part of the Meade family; Hilda is unaware that Justin has become a changed teen when he starts hanging with the wrong crowd and skips school.

Episode 2x06:  Something Wicked This Way Comes
Betty and Henry secretly go on a date to see Wicked, but Daniel, thinking that her date is Gio, gives two tickets to Betty and Gio and Gio does not want to give up those tickets. Meanwhile, Daniel gets in a meeting with an advertiser, a woman who has an interest in younger men, namely Daniel.  Hilda has been hiding the truth about her job at a salon, but Justin (who is back to being himself) finds out.  Wilhemina begins to have some problems with the wedding planning, namely she lost too much weight.

Episode 2x07: A Nice Day for a Posh Wedding
As Wilhelmina prepares for her flamboyant wedding, she quickly realizes that her maid of honor, Victoria Beckham, is stealing all her thunder. Meanwhile, Betty is filled with guilt about her pact with Wilhelmina to keep the latter's affair a secret and Ignacio prepares for his big day as he is about to become an official U.S. citizen. However, when Betty moves in with Henry the father/daughter relationship is strained.

Episode 2x08:  ICU:  I See Me
In the wake of the disastrous Meade/Slater nuptials, Wilhelmina plots her next moves and Betty tries to make things right with Daniel. Meanwhile, Henry uses his charms to get the Mode weekend receptionist (Mo'Nique, guest starring as L'Amanda) to let him in after hours so he can help Betty get something of vital importance.  Claire wants to see her children one last time.

Episode 2x09:  Giving Up the Ghost
A Wilhelmina-induced crisis at Mode finds everyone scrambling to re-create an issue on deadline. Desperate times call for desperate measures, as Daniel and Betty try to break wild child cover girl (Eliza Dushku as Cameron Ashlock) out of rehab for a re-shoot, and Alexis tries to charm the printer (guest star David J. Steinberg) into extending their time. Meanwhile, Betty struggles with an unwelcome (and persistent) visitor who hopes to goad her into making good on a promise.

Episode 2x10:  Bananas for Betty
Henry reluctantly agrees to go on a double date with Betty and an unlikely couple -- Hilda and Gio. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina's attempt to change her image as the queen of mean fails miserably after she tangles with America's most beloved golden girl.  Daniel and Alexis fight for control of Meade Publications in a unique way.

Episode 2x11:  Zero Worship
Amanda visits a psychic (guest star Annie Potts) for insight into her dad's identity. At the same time, disturbed about the message Mode is sending to Justin and his classmates after they visit the magazine, Betty pushes Daniel to use "real" models during fashion week; and Wilhelmina gets some unexpected news about her latest plans for the Meade dynasty.

Episode 2x12:  Odor in the Court
Betty's new perfume is driving Henry wild and Betty crazy, literally, after she unwittingly begins using a deadly scent concocted by the late Fey Sommers and starts acting very strangely.  Meade matriarch Claire goes on the stand for Fey's murder, a vindictive Amanda withholds important information, and Wilhelmina takes steps to become a member of the Meade clan -- one way or the other.

Episode 2x13:  A Thousand Words by Friday
Betty gets an assignment from Daniel to interview "Phil Roth," thinking it's a sit down with the great novelist, but later learning this Phil Roth is a writer who has penned a series of books about picking up women.  Daniel hooks up with a sexy new lady, Renee, only to learn they have a shocking connection to each other, and Amanda and Marc hatch a plan to reach out to the man they believe is Amanda's biological dad.

Episode 2x14:  Twenty Four Candles
Betty's plans to spend a romantic 24th birthday with Henry are sidelined when his Baby Mama Charlie drops in unexpectedly. Will Gio be able to salvage Betty's big day? Meanwhile, Wilhelmina does her devious best to spoil Renee's blossoming relationship with Daniel by hinting there's some dark secrets in her sister's past.

Episode 2x15:  Burning Questions
An increasingly delusional Renee (guest star Gabrielle Union) becomes convinced that Betty is in love with Daniel and therefore is her rival for his affections. Meanwhile, Hilda's new client at the beauty shop turns out to be ex-neighbor and lifetime nemesis Gina Gambarro (guest star Ava Gaudet), who returns to Queens to rub her fabulous life and wealthy doctor husband in Hilda's face.

Episode 2x16:  Betty's Baby Bump
Betty switches gears with rival Charlie (guest star Jayma Mays) and tries to befriend her by throwing a baby shower, a party that no one will ever forget. Meanwhile, Hilda confronts Justin's PE teacher (guest star Eddie Cibrian as Coach Diaz) when she learns Justin is flunking gym; Daniel unravels after his break-up with Renee, and Christina finally learns who fathered the baby she's carrying for Wilhelmina.

Episode 2x17:  The Kids are All Right
Betty, still missing Henry, fights her attraction to Gio, but later finds herself stuck with him when both volunteer to chaperone Justin's middle school dance. Meanwhile, Hilda tries to get Coach Diaz to notice her; Amanda agrees to do a reality show with her dad, KISS rock legend Gene Simmons; and Daniel feels the heat when Wilhelmina makes her triumphant return to Mode amid a media frenzy.

Episode 2x18:  Jump
Just as Gio makes Betty an incredibly romantic offer, Henry pops back into her life with a proposal of his own. Meanwhile, Betty finds herself centerfield at the charity softball game of the year: Mode vs. ELLE Magazine. Can Wilhelmina strike out ELLE's star player, supermodel Naomi Campbell? In other developments, an orphaned boy from France turns up at Mode with an amazing claim, and Hilda learns some shocking news about Coach Diaz.  Lindsay Lohan makes her first (brief) guest appearance, more to come next season.

Ugly Betty Episode Guide, Season 3

Episode 1:  The Manhattan Project (Sept. 25, 2008)
After a trip around the country doing good deeds, Betty shares her photos with Justin and Hilda, while announcing her new plan -- getting a promotion at work, not letting romantic entanglements get in her way and finding a place in Manhattan.  Betty's dad, Ignacio, took a job at Flushing Burgers... under the evil eye of Kimmie [Lindsay Lohan], a girl who used to bully Betty in high school. And, now that Wilhelmina has reestablished herself at MODE, Daniel must make some changes due to her manipulations.

Episode 2:  Filing for the Enemy  (Oct. 2, 2008)
Wilhelmina, now preparing for her first issue as editor, puts Betty in a difficult situation when she offers her a job as her assistant.  Betty is also trying to get Daniel back into the MODE office.  Meanwhile, Christina becomes suspicious of Stuart's true intentions, Daniel faces a custody battle to keep Daniel Jr. in the United States, and Hilda's romance with Coach Diaz reaches a new level of hotness.

Episode 3:  Crimes of Fashion  (Oct. 9, 2008)
Everyone at Mode is stunned when an accident occurs, and Daniel appears to be the main suspect.  Wilhelmina stages publicity shots in the hospital with Christina.  Later on, Betty tries to figure out what really happened when a detective comes by with the same purpose. Meanwhile, Ignacio is shocked when he learns a truth about Hilda and Coach Diaz.

Episode 4:  Betty Suarez Land  (Oct. 16, 2008)
Many storylines reach their peak, and Daniel is shocked by recent family news.  He and Hilda both have to make tough decisions.  Meanwhile, Betty tries to apologize to Gio after he returns, but he refuses to have any of it.  

Episode 5:  Granny Pants  (Oct. 23, 2008)
Kimmie asks Betty for help when she finds herself in need of a job. Meanwhile, Justin auditions for a Broadway musical, and Daniel signs up for a matchmaking service but finds a surprising result with regards to his match.

Episode 6:  Ugly Berry  (Oct. 30, 2008)
Betty has a competition with Kimmie. Ignacio decides to vote for the first time ever. Hilda takes advantage of the election traffic to be able to promote her shop. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina tries to hire a new financial officer whom Daniel hates.

Episode 7:  Crush’d  (Nov 6, 2008)
Wanting to grasp the attention of her neighbor Jesse, Betty decides to work overtime. Meanwhile, Amanda becomes Betty's roommate when the former finds herself in financial instability, and Cliff proposes that he and Marc move in together.

Episode 8:  Tornado Girl  (Nov 13, 2008)
Betty tries to prevent an issue of Mode from shipping because it can result in a PR mess for the magazine. Meanwhile, Hilda's business license is denied by the city, forcing her to go to other means to keep her salon alive.

Episode 9:  When Betty Met YETI  (Nov 20, 2008)
Marc and Betty compete against each other for the Young Editors Training Program but only one spot is available. Daniel learns he is drawn towards Molly. Wilhelmina attempts to get Connor to notice her.

Episode 10:  Bad Amanda  (Dec 4, 2008)
Amanda and Betty are forced to work together for an article called "How I Blew Ten Grand Without Spending a Dime."  Wilhelmina spends time with Christina in order to avoid Daniel & Connor.  Daniel is advised to stay away from Molly, but finds it challenging.

Episode 11:  Dress for Success (Jan 8, 2009)
Betty finds it hard to impress her idol, Jodie Papadakis who is an editor at YETI, while making a mess of her work and family life. Betty has a disastrous encounter with the assistant at ELLE magazine.

Episode 12:  Sisters on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Jan 22, 2009)
Betty finds herself stuck between work and home life in the midst of a family crisis which leaves her at odds with Hilda.  The secret relationships struggling to stay hidden,  Daniel & Molly, Connor & Wilhelmina.

Episode 13: Kissed Off (Feb 5, 2009)
Betty comes up with a solution to deal with her personal problems but her sexy neighbour Jesse who keeps her distracting her from her goals. Daniel does his best to cover his tracks as Connor is adament on unveiling Molly's admirer.

Episode 14: The Courtship of Betty's Father (Feb 12, 2009)
It's Claire's 60th birthday and Betty makes her a video which reveals some unintentional footage of Mrs Meade. Also, Daniel and Wilhelmina are finding it hard having someone new in their lives.  Betty & Hilda struggle to come to terms with Ignacio’s new relationship.

Episode 15: There's No Place Like Mode (Feb 19, 2009)
Fashion Week hits town which causes problems for the staff at Mode. Betty has to split her time between working on her Yeti assignment and working with a new designer. Elsewhere, Wilhelmina has lost her way because of Connor and there's a new person working at Mode.  Matt, the “sports guy” is following Betty around for their YETI assignment.  Elena and Hilda are still at odds.

Episode 16: Things Fall Apart (Feb 26, 2009)
Betty and Marc team up together to analyze Mode's budget. Matt continues with his pursuit to win Betty while she deals with some startling news on Facebook by a former flame.  A major budget crisis happens at MODE which leaves some people fleeing the scene. Molly has a shocking announcement.

Episode 17: Sugar Daddy (Mar 5, 2009)
The Suarez family attempt to buy their rented house from their landlord. Ignacio goes head to head with Frankie Burrata, a celebrity chef. While everyone in Mode comes to deal with their shock.

Episode 18: A Mother of a Problem (Mar 12, 2009)
Betty comes face to face with Matt's mother. Wilhelmina devises a way to make money fast whilst Daniel deals with Molly. The Suarez family attempt to set Hilda and Archie up on a date.

Episode 19: The Sex Issue (Mar 19, 2009)
Daniel and Wilhelmina make Mode's issue based on sex to spice things up. Matt is hesitant to take the next step with Betty. Marc and Amanda provide Betty with a makeover.  Hilda has problems with Archie and his ex.

Episode 20: Rabbit Test (Apr 30, 2009)
The Suarez family gets an invitation to meet Matt's famed billionaire dad, Calvin Hartley, at his legendary Easter Egg hunt. While Betty sees this as a chance to get closer to Matt, Daniel seizes the opportunity to get Mode a bailout. Meanwhile Wilhelmina suspects that little William might not be her biological son.

Episode 21: The Born Identity (May 7, 2009)
Baby William is the unlikely hold up in Mode receiving the money it needs to save the company, whilst Hilda is asked to help with a political campaign.

Episode 22: In the Stars (May 14, 2009)
Betty teams with Matt and Marc for their all-important final YETI project, a photo shoot with Grammy winner Adele, but Matt's slacking off could jeopardize everything they've worked for. Meanwhile, love is everywhere as two wedding proposals are made, but only one couple will walk down the aisle; Claire and Wilhelmina square off over their roles at Mode; and Matt's mom asks Betty for a favor.

Episode 23: Curveball (May 21, 2009)

In the season finale Marc and Betty are left to battle it out for the same job after the death of a Mode editor. Wilhelmina threatens Claire to resign or her dark secret will be shown to Cal. 1.  The Butterfly Effect

Betty starts her new job as associate features editor and deals with resentful co-workers; bullies prey on Justin; Wilhelmina harbors a secret; Daniel's distress takes its toll, while Betty tries to run her own Mode photo shoot.

2. The Butterfly Effect Part 2

Betty gets to run her own Mode photo shoot at the United Nations to promote their anti-malaria initiative, "Nothing but Nets," but her big opportunity becomes a baptism by fire when Daniel's neediness takes its toll, and Matt openly demoralizes her. Meanwhile, Amanda does some soul-searching when she bonds with Daniel's new temp, Helen, a career receptionist, who's just as fabulous as Amanda. Wilhelmina makes it her personal mission to protect her loved one, and Hilda reaches out to Marc to figure out how to help Justin.

3. Blue on Blue

Betty gets a big scoop from Gucci's new designer, with the help of Hilda's connected customer. Still bitter about losing to Betty, Marc plots to sabotage her, enlisting a clueless Amanda and Matt in his efforts, culminating in a showdown at the restaurant where Ignacio works. Meanwhile, Daniel begins to attend a bereavement group, where he meets Natalie, a sexy girl who takes him out for an interesting night on the town, and Wilhelmina flies to Bermuda when she learns Connor might be there.

4. The Wiener, the Bun and the Boob

Betty is overwhelmed with her editorial work, so Wilhemina assigns Marc to be Betty's temporary assistant. Betty's story idea to cover the worst jobs in New York goes south when she has to dress up as a hot dog and do a Bollywood dance number. Meanwhile, Marc frets that he will never be taken seriously by his idol at Vogue magazine, Hilda gets Archie's campaign in trouble, Daniel hires a gorgeous but inept assistant, and Natalie introduces Daniel to the Community -- a group whose charismatic leader zeroes in on Daniel.

5. Plus None

Matt asks someone else to be his "plus one" at Wilhemina's fund-raiser for Tibetan orphans, and Daniel hires his new BFF Natalie as his assistant, making Betty feel obsolete. Amanda keeps a secret from Betty, and Daniel discovers that his mother, Claire, has history with Cal Hartley. Meanwhile, we learn the truth behind Nico's dire straits.

6. Backseat Betty

Hilda's bad-boy high school flame and Betty's schoolgirl crush, Bobby Talercio  teaches at Justin's school, causing the sisters to both doubt their feelings for "nice guys". Justin is struggling to fit in at high school, so Marc advises him to befriend the mean girl-type cheerleaders. Meanwhile, Daniel introduces Amanda to the Community of the Phoenix, as he's lured deeper into its clutches by Bennett and Natalie. Wilhemina takes a drastic step to find money for Nico's blackmail payment

7. With me

Daniel lets the leaders from the Community of the Phoenix call the shots at Mode, and Bennett's promises to reunite Daniel with his dead wife prompt Betty to action. With the help of Claire, Matt, and Amanda she comes up with an ingenious plan. Meanwhile, Wilhemina has let herself go, wearing sweats and garden clogs in public, prompting a tabloid feeding frenzy and spurring Marc to dig deeper into Nico's mystery.

8. The Bahamas Triangle

In the steamy Bahamas, the love triangle between Betty, Matt and Amanda explodes, and romantic pairings abound. Things should be dreamy at the Atlantis resort, where even Shakira is staying. Betty has a nightmarish photo shoot after Wilhemina learns her nemesis, Penelope Graybridge, snagged a coveted job, and, even more importantly, discovers Connor is very much alive. Marc frets that there is no one on the island for him, but then meets the uber-hot Troy, and back home, Hilda draws closer to her old love, Bobby

9. Be-Shure

Against the backdrop of Ignacio's multi-cultural holiday dinner that he prepares for his new flame Jean, who is Jewish. Betty and Hilda have pregnancy scares, after purchasing their 'Be-Shure' instant pregnancy tests from the local pharmacy -- where Jean works and Ignacio is shopping. Meanwhile, Hartley installs Wilhemia replacement, a clueless Hollywood mogul, Denise Ludwig, whose claim to fame is a tacky movie, but Marc has a plan to get Wilhemina back -- if only Daniel will agree. Claire get Amanda's help and tracks down Tyler,  the son she she gave for adoption

10. The Passion of the Betty

Betty becomes concerned that she and Matt are spending too much time together, she tries to give him something else to be passionate about -  a surprise gallery showing of his art work. Meanwhile, Marc is horrified that his one-night stand, Troy is falling for him, since Marc was Troy's "first".  Hilda grapples with whether or not to tell Bobby that he's the father of her unborn child, and Cal Hartley hires a Hollywood powerhouse, Denise Ludwig, to replace Wilhemina.

11. Back in Her Place

A battered but unbowed Betty recounts her worst week EVER to Mr. Z  as the show flashes back to her horrible last few days. Frustrated over the frivolous assignments Wilhemina gives her at Mode, and inspired by Audrey Hepburn's memoir, Betty creates her own blog about amazing charitable ventures that inspire her. However, as her hobby enriches her, her job is nearly killing her, since Wilhemina tortures Betty with beauty experiments for future stories. Meanwhile, Daniel fears Marc is sabotaging him -- and he is. Bobby treats a hormonal Hilda to some pampering during "Hilda Week," which goes awry, and Wilhelmina makes a long-term commitment to the incarcerated Connor.

12. Blackout!

Betty plans a karaoke party in her apartment building, however her building gets robbed. Marc loses something valuable. Meanwhile, Amanda tricks Daniel and Wilhelmina into attending a couples counseling session with Dr. Sparks.

13.  Chica and the Man

Betty's blog wins an award, but her online unloading risks driving a wedge between her and Daniel when the press gets a whiff of the tension. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina is beside herself when she learns she has a drag-queen impersonator; Amanda gives Helen another chance at Mode; and Marc oversees a photo shoot with a well-known director.

14. Smokin Hot

Despite Wilhelmina's slight during New York's Fashion Week, Betty tries to make the most of an opportunity when she pegs a new designer as one to watch. Meanwhile, Claire's son Tyler comes looking for her; Amanda finds an unlikely business partner; and a fire breaks out at the Suarez house.

15. Fire and Nice

Betty reluctantly dates an irritating firefighter to help the investigation of the recent blaze at the Suarez house, while Hilda meets Bobby's parents.  Meanwhile, Wilhelmina accentuates her humble roots when she runs into an old boyfriend; and Amanda suggests that Claire give Tyler a job at Mode.

16. All the World's a Stage

The love bug bites twice this week on Ugly Betty. Justin attracted to a classmate in his acting class, and Betty falls for a playwright she's writing about for Mode. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina lands in the hospital with a perforated ulcer.


17. Million Dollar Smile  

After being knocked unconscious at a photo shoot, Betty has a dream in which her orthodontist (Kathy Najimy) shows her how her life would have been had she never worn braces.

18. London Calling

Betty gets an assignment to cover London Fashion Week, accompanied by Amanda, and she brings Hilda along as a bachelorette party treat. In London Betty reconnects with Christina and runs into Gio unexpectedly. Meanwhile, Wilhemia joins AA to get closer to Tyler and to double-cross Claire and Daniel, and  Bobby wonders why Justin is spending time with Austin.

19. The Past Presents The Future

It's Hilda and Bobby's wedding and Betty gets a surprise visit from an ex-boyfriend. Everyone wonders who to take as their plus one, and Wilhemina has a plan to finally takeover the Meade empire. Justin meanwhile is ready to come out of the closet for his family.


20. Hello Goodbye

Betty's reluctance to tell Daniel about her future is holding her back, Justin and Bobby go in search of a new place - although Hilda doesn't seem too keen. Amanda struggles to deal with the death of her dog, Halston, and Marc thinks he is destined to be alone.
