It didn't take long for Cadmus to start rounding up the aliens and trying to protect the remaining ones left wasn't going to be easy with Snapper refusing to publish Kara story to warn them and Winn not being able to protect Lyra was sad, J'onn was right to suspend Alex but the way he did it was underhanded and what an awesome rescue

I'm guessing Mon-El knew who he was surrendering too after they tried to kill Supergirl but it being his parents wanting to bring home meant he had been lying to Kara and Winn discovering that Lyra has set him up was sad as he was happy with her but her reason was understandable

Alex handled running into Maggie's old girlfriend rather well but inviting Emily over for diner was surprising and someone hiring a bounty hunters to kill Supergirl was disturbing but using Mon-El to do the job was amusing

PS I find it amusing the actors they chose to play Kara's father and Mon-El's mother are the original Lois & Clark from The New Adventures of Superman
