About Cult

Cult Premiered on The CW on February 19, 2013

About the Show:
Investigative journalist Jeff Sefton has learned to laugh off his brother Nate's relentless string of obsessions, especially his latest rant that a hit TV show intends to harm him. However, when his brother mysteriously disappears, Jeff takes Nate's paranoia seriously, and in the process uncovers the dark underworld of the TV show "Cult" and its rabid fans. The only person who seems willing to help Jeff with his investigation is Skye, a young research assistant for "Cult," who has also started to grow suspicious of the increasingly dark happenings surrounding the show. The fictitious show, centered on the cat-and-mouse game between charismatic cult leader Billy Grimm and LAPD detective Kelly Collins, has become an obsession for its viewers – and now some of its devotees seem to be taking their fixation to deadly extremes in the real world. As Jeff and Skye dig deeper into the fan world, they discover that the gruesome plot twists on television are much more than fantasy for some very unfortunate people. The hardcore fans of "Cult" would kill to see what happens next…

The series stars Matt Davis ("The Vampire Diaries") as Jeff Sefton, Jessica Lucas ("Melrose Place," "Cloverfield") as Skye Yarrow, Alona Tal ("Supernatural," "The Killing") as Kelly Collins and Robert Knepper ( " Prison Break," "Shameless") as Billy Grimm.

Season 1

Episode 1: Pilot (Apr/20/2011)
Having been unjustly locked down in a brutal rendition camp for two years by NSA Director Amos, XIII is sprung in a daring escape by mysterious allies. These allies turn out to be Ex-President Sheridan and psychotic freelance killer Irina Svetlanova.

When Sheridan promises that if XIII retrieves the contents of a safe deposit box only he can access, Sheridan will give him information about his past life. XIII takes the deal. Opening the box, XIII finds a mysterious watch that contains a computer chip. Suddenly, killers from all camps converge on XIII to acquire the watch and it’s all he can do to keep himself and Sam - his friend from the photo shop - alive.

In the end, XIII takes the ultimate risk and makes an incursion into the White House itself in an attempt to force President Carrington to play by XIII’s rules.

Episode 2: Green Falls (Apr/27/2011)
XIII and Sam follow a clue from Sheridan to Green Falls, a small town where XIII may have grown up.

As XIII begins to ask questions about himself and his father, who is a local reporter, XIII stirs up old secrets and modern-day violence. In the end, XIII learns his boyhood name, but also is driven to solve the murder of the father he never knew and a corporate scheme to hide the deaths of hundreds of workers.

XIII also learns that he was conscripted into a CIA training program when he was away at college. The more answers he gets, the more mysterious his past seems to be.

Episode 3: Lockdown (May/04/2011)
Chasing another lead from Sheridan, XIII gets himself thrown into a brutal Venezuelan prison in search of a prisoner who might have worked with XIII when he was a CIA operative.

The problem is getting to this prisoner – Sanchez - a powerful personality who inspired the prisoners to fight for their rights. He’s been declared insane and locked away in a high security area. XIII must fight off attacks from both prisoners and guards as he attempts to sneak into the secure medical ward and get the information he needs.

When corrupt CIA chief, Giordino gets involved and forces XIII to do a dangerous side mission for him in the prison, it seems that even if XIII gets the information he needs, he might wind up spending the rest of his life behind the bars of this brutal institution.

Episode 4: The Irish Version (May/11/2011)
XIII follows the piece of information he learned from Sanchez in the Venezuelan prison. It leads him to Ireland in search of Seamus O’Neal, an ex-IRA operative who was inducted into the CIA at the same time XIII was.

In Seamus’ home town, XIII begins to ask questions about Seamus and opens up old hostilities… and a possible connection between Seamus and a new breed of IRA killers.

XIII must fight to find out what Seamus was involved in… and the secrets of what it has to do with XIII’s own life.

Episode 5: Training Camp (May/18/2011)
XIII follows the trail of his identity to a paramilitary training camp in the Pacific Northwest named Bitterroot where he supposedly trained. As XIII tries to discover the nature of the secret mission he was being trained for, he runs afoul of the camp’s owner, Rech. It’s all XIII can do to stay alive though the vicious training regime…. and the ever-present danger of being discovered and executed as a spy.

In the end, XIII finds some of the information he was looking for, but at a deadly cost.

Episode 6: Costa Verde (May/25/2011)
Having learned in Bitterroot that he was trained for a corporate intrusion mission in Costa Verde, XIII and Jones head off to investigate.

As they dig deeper into XIII’s possible involvement there, they make stunning discoveries. Not only might XIII have been involved in an explosion that killed hundreds of workers at a plant, but he was also involved with a revolutionary movement… and its beautiful and charismatic leader.

In the end, what XIII finds out, might not just get him killed, it might change the course of the country’s history.

Episode 7: Undertow (Jun/01/2011)
XIII and Jones travel to Chicago in search of Robert Simons, one of the other agents sent to break into the plant in Costa Verde. Desperate to find out what really went on there… and in search of the information hidden in the other two watches he knows about, XIII is frustrated to learn that Simons disappeared two years ago.

Even worse, XIII’s search seems to have attracted the attention of others who are looking for the information from the watches, including the lethal Irina.

In the end, XIII finds out what really happened to Simons and attempt to recover one of the watches. The trick will be to keep Himself, Jones and Simons daughter alive long enough to accomplish it.

Episode 8: Hunting Party (Jun/08/2011)
When Irina approaches XIII with a proposal for him to hand over one of the watches in return for the identity of the man who killed Sam, XIII makes a deal with the devil.

Believing Irina has betrayed him, CIA director, Giordino, targets both Irina and XIII for capture and death. Before long, XIII and Irina, the deadliest of enemies, find themselves on the run, manacled together, having to cooperate to keep themselves alive.

In the end, it might take more than the combined skills of XIII and Irina to survive against Giordino and his deadly black ops team.

Episode 9: The Bank Job (Jun/15/2011)
XIII is hot on the trail of now-exposed CIA director Giordino and tracks him to a safe deposit box in Moscow where Giordino has secreted money, documents and blackmail materials in case of an emergency.

XIII and Jones plan a daring bank robbery to get to Giordino’s stash before he does, but on breaking in, find more mysteries than answers. What XIII finds out is that keeping the team he put together in one piece might be harder than he ever thought.

In the end, XIII may have to let the deadly Giordino get into the box so they can find out where his next move will take him. And that move might prove fatal to XIII and Jones.

Episode 10: The Train (Jun/22/2011)
Following Giordino as he makes use of the mysterious information from his burn box, XIII and Jones find themselves looking for a young boy whose parents Giordino has brutally murdered.

As they chase Giordino and the boy to a secret meeting on a train travelling across Canada, they learn the stunning truth about who the boy really is. They also learn the earth-shaking consequences of Giordino or the mysterious Gerhardt controlling him.

Eventually, XIII will have his long-awaited confrontation with Giordino from which only one of them will walk away.

Episode 11: The Bunker (Jun/29/2011)
From information XIII and Jones learned from the boy Giordino kidnapped, they travel to Montana, the site of a de-commissioned blast chamber… and potentially, the hiding place of Max Serle and the information from the final watch.

Max, one of the conspirators in the Costa Verde mission and a dangerous paranoiac, has walled himself in the blast chamber, having tricked it out with deadly traps.

It’s up to XIII and Jones to fight their way through the installation to get to Max and convince him of who XIII really is before Irina and her team of mercenaries can get there first.

Episode 12: The Key (Jul/06/2011)
Having retrieved the final watch from Max Serle, XIII fits the pieces of the encrypted file together to find that it requires a password. As Amos and his team try to preemptively take back the information before XIII can use it, XIII and Dillon work frantically to break the password.

Throughout this, XIII realizes that the mysterious Gerhardt has led him through the facets of his previous life for a reason. The password is somewhere in what he’s re-experienced over the last weeks of his quest.

In the end, unless he breaks the code in time, the forces that shape his destiny may cheat XIII out of the answers he so desperately needs.

Episode 13: Revelation (Jul/13/2011)
Gerhardt has stolen the information weapon from XIII and is bent on using it to undermine world powers to his benefit.

XIII and Jones enlist Dillon to help them track Gerhardt’s operations to Paris where Gerhardt has a stronghold. But in Paris, XIII must fight his way through the layers of protection that Gerhardt has set up to find Gerhardt’s base of operations.

Finally, XIII and Gerhardt have their confrontation as they chase through the streets of Paris. As they work through their final meeting, the fate of the information weapon, of XIII’s life… and the future of society itself will hang in the balance.

About Weed Country

Weed Country Premiered on Discovery Channel on February 20, 2013

About the Show:
In a remote wilderness tucked deep inside the border of California and Oregon – known as the Emerald Triangle – marijuana flourishes. Farmers in this area can earn millions in a single summer, but with that kind of reward comes huge risk. Growing marijuana here is a cutthroat business -- where only the best survive.

WEED COUNTRY, a new six part series on Discovery Channel premiering Wednesday, February 20, 10|9c, shows the battle between cops, dealers and the growers looking to engineer some of the most powerful marijuana on earth.

Today eighteen states and Washington, D.C., have legalized medical marijuana. Washington state and Colorado recently approved marijuana for recreational use and at least 10 more states are expected to consider similar legislation this year. But for the farmers in states that have harsh laws, the risks are great. A marijuana farm with over a thousand plants could land someone in jail for up to 40 years.

Many of the growers see it as their duty to supply the plant for much needed medicinal purposes. “Any other flower that had these medical properties would be treated as the greatest discovery to happen in this century,” said Nate Morris, who began growing marijuana at just 14-years-old and hopes to turn the plant into a medical game changer.

However, in the eyes of the government, Nate and his fellow growers are felons committing serious crimes and the idea of medical marijuana is a scam. “Kids are getting a hold of it and that’s one of my big concerns. It is a problem of epidemic proportions,” said Jon Lopey. Sheriff Coroner of Siskiyou County, California.

Heavily armed with weapons and helicopters for aerial surveillance, these hardline law enforcers will stop at nothing to take down the growers’ operations and cut off their supply chains. As the pressure intensifies, turf wars and battles erupt between neighbors. Will the growers win the fight to change hardline political and social attitudes? Or will the authorities be able to bring them down once and for all?

Miss Marple is given the responsibility of hiding a young mother and son from danger, so she takes them to the sprawling Greenshaw's Folly, owned by an old friend and botanist who is the last surviving member of the Greenshaw family. But the spinster sleuth soon has second thoughts about her decision when bad things start happening. First the Folly's butler dies in an apparent accident. Then a guest staying there vanishes without a word. Everything culminates in the brutal murder of Miss Greenshaw herself, and Miss Marple is left with a myriad of secrets and suspects to sift through.

Episode 3: Endless Night
While consoling her recently widowed friend Marjorie, Miss Marple crosses paths with the handsome Mike Rogers, a young worker with a penchant for daydreaming about his future, more specifically about the perfect house he would live in, built on the eerily beautiful Gypsy's Acre. When Mike meets and marries the ethereal American heiress Ellie Goodman, his luck changes, and with the help of his old friend and rising architect Robbie Hayman, Mike's dream house is finally built, despite the repeated warnings from Esther Lee, a local gypsy, that Gypsy's Acre is cursed ground. Miss Marple, however, senses that danger really is near at hand, especially when frightening incidents plague Mike and Ellie, culminating in an injury that leads to the arrival of Ellie's mysterious Swedish friend, Greta. But when Ellie herself meets a tragic end, Miss Marple and Mike are faced with a chilling reality: that, perhaps, supernatural nightmares truly can exist, and that - as William Blake oncewrote - some are born to endless night.

Season 1

Episode 1: The Box (May/12/2013)
Unemployed and unattached, Tom Chadwick is surprised when he’s bequeathed an old chest of curios by his great-aunt Victoria, although he and his sister Bea can’t remember ever meeting her. He finds an old black-and-white photo in the chest that his father, Keith, believes is Tom’s great-grandfather, Harry. With the help of Mr. Pfister, his avuncular neighbor, and Pete, an old school friend, Tom tracks down Neville St. Aubrey, a strange expert in the field of antique photos, who discovers intriguing and revealing information about Tom’s ancestor. Meanwhile, Pete tries to get Tom’s love life back on track by setting him up with a “model pretty” date. He’s just not sure what kind of model.

Episode 2: Treading the Boards (May/19/2013)
When Mr. Pfister discovers an unforeseen aspect of Tom's great-grandfather Harry's life, it leads Tom and Pete to the south coast of England, where Harry died many years before. They meet Sybil, an impossibly old woman who still lives next door to the house Harry lived in and remembers him from her childhood. Their investigation takes them to a regional theatre, where he and Pete learn more than they ever wanted to know about Harry's life and loves from Rex and Mitch, the two friendly gentlemen who run the theatre. It also inspires Tom and Pete to engage in a unique competition, but not before Pete has set Tom up on another extraordinary date.

Episode 3: The Austerity Games (Jun/02/2013)
Bea and Monk audition to perform at a children's birthday, while Tom starts digging deeper into the life of his grandfather William, who he suspects might have competed in the 1948 London "Austerity Games," a far cry from those of 2012. After learning more about the games from Mr. Pfister, Tom visits his great-aunt Victoria's friend Mildred, who is able to shed some light on William's former athletic prowess, and on why Victoria left Tom the chest of family curios. With Keith's help, Tom and Pete visit the gym where Tom's grandfather William trained for the Games, and meet some old-timers who actually knew him. While at the gym, Pete bravely accepts a challenge from a much younger timer. Bea and Monk perform their first professional gig at a wedding reception.

Episode 4: Country Life (Jun/09/2013)
Tom finally has an interview for a job. He also discovers he has cousins in both Derbyshire and California, and makes a plan to visit and learn more about the Derbyshire branch of the family tree. Meanwhile, Pete has to perform a delicate "procedure" on an alpaca at the zoo. Tom, Bea, Keith, Luba and Monk drive up to the Derbyshire farm owned by their cousins from the North. Tom is interested to find out if the grass is really greener in the country, and equally determined to get to the bottom of a dark family secret. Culture clashes notwithstanding, Tom gets his answers and some family truths are finally revealed. The family-tree plot thickens as he also hears from his American cousin, Al, on the trip. Pete's life-affirming mission at the zoo proves to be a no less sticky venture.

Episode 5: Welcome To America (Jun/16/2013)
Tom goes to the U.S. to visit his cousins, Al and Kitty Chadwick, in Los Angeles, to find out why his great-great-grandfather Charles left America for England more than a century ago, and he also gets to meet some other relatives at a family barbecue.

Episode 6: Civil War (Jun/23/2013)
Tom's cousin Rick, an American Civil War enthusiast, helps Tom find out more about his great-great-grandfather Charles' mysterious activities as a soldier in the war.

Episode 7: Indians (Jun/30/2013)
Tom rents a classic convertible car and meets Ally for lunch, where they get to know each other a little better. Bea and Pete arrive to share Tom's last two weeks in America.

Episode 8: Cowboys (Jul/07/2013)
On their last day in California, Bea, Monk and Pete hit the beach, while Tom, accompanied by Ally, meets Toms distant cousin Melvin Schmelff, whose grandfather was Tumbleweed Tim, a famous silent-movie cowboy star.

About Whodunnit?

Whodunnit? Premiered on ABC on June 23, 2013

About the Show:
Whodunnit? is an interactive series that puts 13 amateur sleuths' investigative skills to the test in a riveting mystery reality competition. Players will use a variety of crime scene investigation techniques to meticulously uncover evidence in a series of puzzling murders and to ultimately reveal who among them is the killer. Some players will form alliances in the competition, while others will choose to go it alone in their quest for the grand prize of $250,000. The contestants will be guests on a glamorous estate called Rue Manor with a steward, Butler Giles (Gildart Jackson), and each week must solve a new crime in order to advance in the game. Failure to solve the crime will lead to a player's demise, until only three are left. In the final episode, one player will unmask the killer and take home the $250,000 prize.

Anthony E. Zuiker, creator of the CSI franchise, brings the world of murder and intrigue to his first primetime reality series, Whodunnit?, airing in nine episodes this summer on the ABC Television Network. Cris Abrego partners with Zuiker for the new series.
