Hey all, just got a chance to watch the episode. So Josh Schwartz contacted me to see if I would write on the show, lol !!

Studio, yeh i think it's going to be an adopted child so we get a new cast member.

Poor Chuck, I think he was projecting a lot of his guilt onto Lily. He wasn't on the best of terms with his father when he died. It's a pity that he couldn't give into his feelings and stay with Blair. If he doesn't change, then he'll grow up to be just like his father: Mistrusting and destructive.

Are we ever going to see Lily and Rufus make it? Destiny really doesn't want this couple to get together, lol. If they do though and Serena and Dan get back together, then they'll both be related to the same half brother/sister and if Lily and Rufus get married then Dan and Serena will be step brother and sister. Plus Lily's daughter/son will be a half sister/brother to her step son, who is also her son in law. And the same for Serena and Dan, ahhhhh, too weird !!!!

Well well well, this was a mixed up episode ! Nate with Blair, Chuck with Vanessa and Serena back to her old ways??? I wonder how she knows Gabriel? She was calling herself Savannah then. It must have been Georgie she was with then !!

The phone call to Scott was just silly. First off, what teenager/early twenty something year old leaves their mobile phone out of their hands? It's almost like an extra limb to them, lol. Secondly, they might have deleted the incoming message, but that only got rid of the immediate threat. You know this is going to come back at them.

A good episode though. I'm not so sure about Nate and Blair though. I don't think it will last very long.

Well well well, this is an instruction guide in how to get things really wrong!! Here we go again with the Rufus and Lily dance, not sure I can take much more of this. I thought that was so out of character for Lily. Didn't sit well with me so.

And the same dance with Chuck and Blair. Chuck lied to her because he believes he can never make her happy. I'm sure this won't be the end of things!

What has Blair done? She's unleashed the biatch in Georgie. I love her line "Tell Jesus the B*tch is back" - Lol.

Loved the ending with Blair and Chuck, sweet.

Georgie is obviously going to be a problem next season.

Gossip Girl is coming to college....haha, I guess that had to happen or there would be no show.

Dan chit chatting to his half brother and didn't even know. Next season will be interesting.

I thought it was a good first episode. Sets the scene for what's going to happen during this season.

Serena acting out just to get the attention of her father.

I think Chuck and Blair playing games to keep their relationship fresh is pretty in character. I mean, look at all the dramatics they went through just to get together. You almost expect it of them !!

I heard the ratings weren't great for this first episode, but I hope they improve.

You know, I'm glad Georgina overheard about Scott because how lame was that for him to pretend to be the brother. I want Rufus to know, he deserves to know. And what kid wouldn't want Rufus to be their Father. Many adoptive kids don't find their Biological parents to be as they hoped.

It's typical Dan that he didn't know who the famous girl was!! Nice ending with those two.

And Tyra Banks, well she is not much of an Actress, is she?? At least Serena got to keep her job.

Jenny is the new Queen B even though she tried to fight it!

Finally managed to catch up on the past few episodes. So Chuck is getting to know his mother and all is well, for now!!

Jenny is testing her limits with her father. I wonder how Rufus is going to react to this latest stunt.

I like Nate and Serena together. I wonder will her Father now call her because he knows it's last chance saloon!

So Blair finally saw her relationship with Chuck was toxic and she didn't like who she had become with him. I think she was right to walk away.

Jenny, Jenny, Jenny ooh, you know all of this is going to come back on her and Nate will not be too happy.

I bet there is a very simple straightforward reason for Lily being with (as we're led to believe) Serena's father. Maybe he's not well or something? We know she loves Rufus, so she's not cheating on him.

I loved the scenes between Darota and Blair.

Good episode. I'm glad that William got found out, but I do agree with Jenny that Lily was too quick to not believe him.

This was a so so finale for me. The randomness of Georgina being pregnant (if she is that is, I've doubts about that!) is a bit much.

As for Chuck getting shot in the "staged" Paris, a bit of a throw away piece for me to be honest. If I was French, I'd be insulted too, lol!

5/10 for me from a Finale point of view.

It's random in the sense that it doesn't tie into anything that has happened for some time. Not that it's not possible. You need to look up the meaning of the word random Bala.

Because Bala you feel the need to challenge everyone else's opinion. Everytime anyone says anything you always comment on it. That's not necessary. So expect push back if you challenge other people's opinions.

Well lets leave it at that but you should probably try and read back over your posts before you post them and see if it could be interpreted in a negative way. That's a good habit to get into. It's something I do myself.

Ah, but Juliet's big mistake was not getting a lump sum out of Lily. Once everything comes out Lily will just stop the cheques!!

I'm glad Dan believed in Serena, she needed somebody to. It must be hard for those two to play being this close when they just broke up in real life after nearly 3 years together.

By the way, when I was in New York last month I took quite a lot of pictures. I was watching this episode and they had a shot of outside Nate's apartment and I thought to myself, I've seen that place. Turns out I took a picture of it because it had Halloween decorations up and I didn't even realise it was his place:

It was actually the Upper West Side and not East!

I think Blair and Dan are actually much better suited. I hope they end up together; at least for a while.

Chuck was a silly boy not trusting in the one person who's always looked out for him!
