Grey's Anatomy Season 1-4 General Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Can't believe that's it for a while !

I am getting tired of the see-saw that is Derek & Meredith's relationship. It just keeps going around in circles !!

I did feel sorry for Bailey, but she neglected her marriage for too long. Thing is, I'm not sure it's entirely her fault. I mean, her husband knew what he was getting into. He knew that surgeon's spend long long hours in the hospital. So why the change of heart? My uncle is a Surgeon and he works 100 hr weeks ! It goes with the job, simple as.

Wasn't the baby actor who played Tucker just the cutest ?

Ok, did anyone else have a little whinge at this episode?!!

Yes, but we don't see the ins and outs of how much "time" Bailey actually spends with her family. We assume not much. Perhaps Bailey's husband is not happy with "the effort to make it home for dinner when she can" because it's still not enough.

The simple fact of the matter is that most jobs require you to work, at most, a 40 hr week. If someone is working 100hrs, that means they are missing more than twice the time of someone doing a 40 hr week and it's going to take it's toll. Perhaps your mother was more tolerant?

Hey all, I just got to watch this episode now. I agree with so many of your points. Funny-girl, I totally agree that it had a season 2 vibe about it and like many of you, I was finding it a little hard to like GA lately; this new feel to it has certainly made me more interested.

What I don't understand about Derek and Rose, is why does he have to be in another relationship to move on from Meredith? I'm sorry, but it's a sign of someone who has issues with themselves if they can't be alone for more than 5 minutes !!

Rose's character is boring, but that's intentional by the writers. They don't want us to form an attachment to Rose, because then we won't want Derek and Meredith to get back together. So, I think she'll stay pretty much a one dimensional character.

I love Lexie too. She's got a great comedic presence, that isn't really forced, on screen. I think it'll be good for George to have a good friend from the interns. No matter how much he wants to be part of the "resident" clique, he just isn't.

Callie and Hahn eh? That would be an interesting storyline !!! Haha, Mark will feel vindicated if that happens, lol.

Yeh, I think so too. It's like "Ok, what other relationship can we force together now, Oh George and Izzy" - It was an ill planned idea and it did back fire on them. Not every male/female friendship needs to end up as a romantic relationship !!

I'm very exited about this episode having the old vibe. I just hope they can maintain it !

Hey all, just watched the episode now.

Meredith is a coward, without a doubt. The shrink telling her to say "He's with Rose" when she thinks of Derek was her way of trying to make her see reality. At the end, when she called her a coward, she was right. Meredith is a coward when it comes to Derek and even Derek being with another woman is not enough to snap her into reality.

Sloane. This was a real epiphany for him. Having the only "virtuous" woman (as he put it) call him a whore, was a real slap in the face/wake up and smell the coffee moment for Sloane. Yes, we've seen that he has moments of were he might actually have more substance to him, but they are few and far between. They need to grow his character, which is where I think this is going to go. Bala I don't agree that some of the women he slept with should try to help him. It needs to start at home. He needs to fix himself, no-one else. He's the one with the issues, not them and I think he will try to now, which is good.

I did feel sorry for Christina. She did help Burke and he forget about her. I have to say though, I didn't find the "singing" scene funny at all. I was just like, eh ok then. The part I liked the most was when she was in the office with the Chief. That was a powerful scene.

As for Callie and Hahn. Absolutely, there was definitely a "what if" moment there. We're surely going to see this "relationship" grow.

Here's another short one.

The look on Mark's face when Hahn kissed Callie, priceless. To be honest, it didn't surprise me too much !!

I loved that line too funnygirl, that was hilarious.

I was waiting for Andre the whole time. I suspected he was real and that was the whole point. Derek is the one with "faith" and it paid off. It made Meredith see that she is broken when it comes to faith, not for the first time.

I'm so over Rebecca. I wish she was gone - She annoys me !!

As for the promo. It looks like a few things; cement? a skin growth? I dunno, but it will be interesting !

Yep, this pretty much sums up my thoughts on it too Bala !!

I really enjoyed these two episodes. What a great Season Finale !
