Yeh, I think that's a good idea. Priority should be given to the VIP site.
Sort of picking up on what Bala has said and a bit of what Craig has said; How about moving older seasons to a 3rd server? So the main servers will have, say, the current season and perhaps the one before. You can design the front end so people don't necessarily know which server they are accessing all of that will go on behind the scenes.
