About Wedding Band

Wedding Band Premiered on TBS on November 10, 2012

About the Show:
Delivering equal parts comedy and heart, Wedding Band centers on the bromance between four likable but occasionally reckless young men who can't figure out their own lives. One thing they have figured out, however, is that weddings are the wildest parties in town. After all, the groupies are bridesmaids, the drinks are free and the best part, there's a paycheck waiting at the end of the night. And it's not just weddings. Mother of the Bride also brings the party to bar mitzvahs, high-school reunions and even bachelorette parties.

On lead vocals and playing the crowd is perennial bachelor Tommy (Brian Austin Green). Shredding it on guitar is his best friend and married father of two, Eddie (Peter Cambor). Behind Eddie on drums –and everything else in life – is his rock-obsessed brother, Barry (Derek Miller), whose mission is to bring the arena-rock spectacle to black-tie events. New to the band is Stevie (Harold Perrineau), a bassist and session musician who's jammed with all the big rock giants, "from AC to ZZ," but he's never been an official member of a band until Mother of the Bride.

Together these four guys provide the soundtracks to other people's lives. But now the band is ready to take things to the next level. That means attracting the attention of top event Roxie Rutherford (Melora Hardin), and her novice associate Rachel (Jenny Wade) and keeping Eddie out of trouble with his wife, Ingrid (Kathryn Fiore).

To make sure he's not making another mistake, Tommy sets out to prove to his dad via temptation he's incapable of being a "one-woman" man. Meanwhile, Rutherford has a blogger (guest star Barry Watson) shadow her in hopes the story will help her compete with a rival wedding planner. Episode 9: Personal Universe (Jan/12/2013)
While playing Oktoberfest, Mother of the Bride is approached by a fan, rock star Declan Horn (guest star James Marsters). Declan wants to hang out with them, but in a lesson of "never meet your idol," the band has to contain Declan after he lets his inner-rock animal out at their next event: a Sweet 16 party.

Episode 10: End of the World As We Know It (Jan/19/2013)
After a falling-out with Rutherford, the guys are recruited by Roxie's rival event planner - and former assistant - Emily Corgy (guest star Erinn Hayes) to play an "End of the World" party. The guys don't feel good about the career move after learning Tommy and Emily have started dating. Worlds collide when they learn the event they're scheduled to play has been double-booked with another "End of the World" party thrown by Rutherford. Even worse, it's headlined by Mother of the Bride's rival - the Def Leppard tribute band Armageddon It (fronted by guest star Ken Marino). It's a recipe for disaster.

Season 1

Episode 1: (Jan/09/2013)
It is 1937, and Colonel Jean-Francois Mercier, a highly decorated soldier from the First World War, is the military attache stationed in Warsaw, Poland while the shadow of Hitler’s Nazi regime looms over mainland Europe.

Mercier is grossly suspicious of the German military’s intentions, but he must juggle his formal duties at stifling diplomatic functions with the often death-defying realities of espionage.

With intelligence from his German informant Edvard Uhl, Mercier sets out on a stealth mission with his trusted accomplice Marek, where they discover that the Nazis are ensuring any future invasion of Poland can take place effectively and with little resistance. Mercier almost gets caught and killed during the mission, narrowly escaping, and thereby facing the wrath of French bureaucrat Jourdain, who is anxious to avoid the further heightening of diplomatic tension.

Amid the threat of a second world war, Mercier is also vying for the affections of Parisian lawyer Anna Skarbek, currently in an empty-shell relationship with Russian emigre and political journalist Maxim. As Mercier and Anna’s relationship develops, it is clear that she must choose between both men. But will Mercier’s feelings for Anna jeopardize his mission and can she be trusted?

Episode 2: (Jan/16/2013)
Mercier’s mission becomes all too dangerous as his cover is compromised while trying to unearth German military plans, and a man believed dead reappears, sparking significant repercussions for both Mercier and Anna. Will Mercier discover the truth in time and what consequences will this have on the rest of Europe?

Led by intelligence from Dr Lapp, Mercier travels to Czechoslovakia to find and question the illusive ‘Seagull’, a German activist who is on the run from the Nazis.

Finding Seagull reluctant to become involved with the French, Mercier soon takes matters with into his own hands and persuades him to travel to Berlin under false identities. There, with Seagull’s help, Mercier hopes to employ a man who could prove to be a powerful ally against the Nazi regime.

As Mercier’s superiors become increasingly frustrated with his lack of protocol and risk-taking, they begin to question the intelligence he has gathered, when finally, Mercier finds himself in opposition to his own government. Frustrated with work and longing for the beautiful Anna, he returns to Paris and the support of his younger sister Gabrielle (Tuppence Middleton), eventually seeking solace at the old family estate and his father’s well-stocked wine cellar.

Now the threat of war becomes all too real as tensions rise across Europe and Mercier has to make difficult decisions.

About Peep Show

Peep Show Premiered on Channel 4 on September 19, 2003

About the Show:

The El Dude Brothers is what they refer to themselves as. Best friends and roommates, Mark and Jeremy (also known as Jez) are two of the most different people you'd ever meet.

Mark is a logical person who has a career in a credit company; has his sights set on the girl of his dreams, Sophie; and is completely uncomfortable with himself.

Jeremy on the other hand, is more than comfortable with himself, to the point of narcissism; he falls 'in love' so often, one questions his understanding of the word or his capacity of genuine emotions; and finally, his job is avoiding work an aspiring musician.

Over the series you see their antics as they try to cope with the world around them as well as each other.

Season 1

Episode 1: Warring Factions (Sep/19/2003)
Mark and Jeremy find themselves in competition for the same woman: Toni from next door. This is not the entire problem with Mark and his love life, rather, he is also lusting after Sophie, a co-worker, but finds himself at a loss with how to put his feelings into action. Jeremy is also pre-occupied, but not with love, with his music.

Episode 2: The Interview (Sep/26/2003)
Jeremy faces a dilemma: money vs. art. Should he put all his time and effort into his music and try to 'make it' or should he be like Mark and get a 9 to 5 job to pay the bills (including three months of rent owed to Mark). Sophie is still the object of Mark's desires and he still fumbles about trying desperately to let her know how he feels.

Episode 3: On The Pull (Oct/03/2003)
Mark and Jeremy go to a party to try and find some long lost love, or perhaps someone for the night. At the party Mark meets a cool goth 'teenager' named Valarie, who wants to take their acquaintance to the next level: bowling! This gives Jeremy a chance to hook up with Toni, and allows Mark to take his mind off of Sophie . . . or will it?

Episode 4: Mark Makes A Friend (Oct/10/2003)
Mark's attention is distracted from Sophie as he contemplates his homosexual tendency and/or bi-curious nature. What is the source of all this confusion? Alan Johnson! A handsome, charismatic, suave, successful businessman. Mark is so enamoured with him that he is considering partnering up and moving to Cardiff, which has Jeremy at a loose end. Jeremy has been spending quality time with Super Hans, but is weary of becoming roommates.

Episode 5: Dream Job (Oct/17/2003)
Mark is more than a little bitter about being turned down for a promotion he feels he is more than deserving of. To make things worse, Sophie has been placed in the position (as an interim). Meanwhile, the relationship between Super Hans and Jeremy begins breaking down when Toni gets in between them.

Episode 6: Funeral (Oct/24/2003)
The season finale sees Mark finally taking some action with Sophie, but will it pay off? Jeremy is facing not only the passing of a relative, but also his own forthcoming death, whenever that may be. In preparation, he is searching for some guidance or meaning in life.
