Martin running did make him look guilty of the basketball players murder but Vince running made sense as he was involved in an armed robbery and McKenzie threatening to end her partnership with Arroyo was predictable

Holbrook being the high-end call girl last client before she was found dead was interesting as he was Clark's arch-enemy but blackmailing Clark for something his father did was a surprise

Owen's cold case being compromised by the events of 9/11 was interesting and closing it in the final episode was nice but Clark knocking Arroyo out and handcuffing him was amusing as it allowed Owen to get his long-deserved promotion but being cancelled with an ending like that was disappointing
