Trying to identify the remains of the several bodies found in the cellar was bound to be hard work and Helen's father Joe being arrested for the murders was interesting as he remains tight lipped

Rachel being sent on a sexual harassment course after the email was amusing but Janet getting away with pinching a fellow officers bum was surprising and Rosie being seen slapping a resident would make her look suspicious but catching the real killer was great

Janet and Rachel arguing over Rachel sleeping with Kevin under her roof was understandable as her daughter was in the house but Sean hitting Kevin in the station was crazy as he could loose his job and Kevin getting arrested for leaking information to the press was a surprise

They were lucky the call from MIT Command, alerting the team to Gill’s disappearance as it was her day off but how quick they got eye's on her was impressive and Gill's reference to Life on Mars was an amusing way to end the season

Rachel and Janet finding themselves in front of the same promotion board was great as they both passed but with Gill having to choose only one was interesting as Rachel got it only after Janet turned it down and the missing boy being reported by his boss rather than his parents made them look suspicious at first

Gill letting slip that Rachel came second choice to Janet was unfortunate but I had a felling someone would let the cat out the bag sooner or later and Rachel wanting the suspect to take a selfe of his privates was amusing

Investigating the babies death when the hospital staff were concerned that his injuries didn't match his parents explanation was tough and the parents reluctance to be interviewed at the station only made it worse, the parents first trying to blame the child minder was typical

The landlords being shot at close range in their pub was tragic and the son spending the night at a friends house was lucky as his half sister probable would of killed him as well

Looks like Janet has dropped Gill in it after reporting her suspicions about drinking on the job and having trouble at first trying to identify the man’s body discovered on the moors was interesting as it turned out he disappeared 15 years ago

Janet being unable to interview Evie Pritchard after being involved in the fatal collision with Cal Pritchard was understandable but her reporting to the press after smelling alcohol on Gill's breath was going to make things awkward as it gave her the ammunition she needs to discredit Gill from the case but Rachel wiping the smile of her face with the fingerprints on the gun was great
