Season 1
Episode 1: Always There (Apr/22/2013)
Daniel Holden, met by lawyer Jon Stern, mother Janet, sister Amantha, stepfather Ted, stepbrother Ted Jr., and Ted Jr.'s wife Tawney, leaves a Georgia prison after 19 years. New DNA evidence has shown that Daniel didn't rape his 16-year-old girlfriend, Hanna, found assaulted and murdered, when he was 18. Senator Roland Foulkes says Daniel hasn't been exonerated and will still be pursued by the law. Roland meets local officials, including Sheriff Carl Daggett, and tells them to track down the primary witnesses. Sister Amantha drives Daniel around town; younger half-brother Jared tries to bond with Daniel. Two witnesses, George Melton and Trey Willis, meet in the woods. After Trey leaves, George shoots himself in the head.
Episode 2: Sexual Peeling (Apr/22/2013)
Daniel goes to a buffet and a driving range with Ted Jr., who's nervous about business at the tire store if Daniel comes to work there. Daniel tells him about getting attacked in prison. Jon tries to halt his sexual relationship with Amantha, feeling it's inappropriate. At a family barbecue, Jon tells Ted Sr. that state prosecutors will continue to pursue Daniel. Tawney approaches Daniel and the two discuss life at a spiritual level before Ted Jr. gives Daniel a dirty magazine, which he thinks will help Daniel re-adjust to the outside world.
Episode 3: Modern Times (Apr/29/2013)
Senator Foulkes, during a dalliance with the waitress from the local diner, tells her Hanna had come from a family "without means" and Daniel was a strange teenager; the waitress tells him Amantha's having sex with Jon. Daniel retreats to the attic, where he finds an old mixed tape from Hannah. He later goes to a skate and bike park with Jared. Amantha's out drinking with Jon when a man asks, flatly, if Daniel's going to live at home; she says she doesn't know. Amantha, unnerved, tells Jon the man is Hanna's brother.
Episode 4: Plato's Cave (May/06/2013)
Daniel goes shopping with his mom. Jon talks to the state prosecutor; Sheriff Daggett talks to Trey. At a seminar out of town, a buddy talks to Ted Jr. about an illicit business scheme. Daniel visits Tawney at her church, where she talks to him about getting baptized. On his walk home, Daniel runs into an old classmate willing to show him some kindness.
Episode 5: Drip, Drip (May/13/2013)
Daniel takes a strange trip in the night. Returning to town, he visits the tire store to talk to Ted Sr. Returning home, Ted Jr.'s angry to learn from Tawney that she's trying to help Daniel find absolution. Despite Amantha's concerns, Daniel goes to get baptized as Tawney looks on, but his revelations aren't quite what she expected. Daniel has a late-night talk with Ted Jr. at the store.
Episode 6: Jacob's Ladder (May/20/2013)
After the family mailbox is smashed, Amantha confronts Sheriff Daggett while Janet and Ted Sr. grow more concerned about Daniel's safety, wondering if he should leave town. Daniel visits a childhood spot with Amantha as Ted Jr. and Tawney retreat from him. Trey discovers George's body. Daniel remembers one old friend and visits another.
