Ken and Lorna Thomas' daughter Rachel has returned from her gap year with a new husband, Cuckoo - self-appointed spiritual ninja. He is every parent's worst nightmare - a slacker full of outlandish, New Age ideas. Ken and Lorna have no choice but to welcome him into their family home - and if every Englishman's home is his castle, then this hippie has stormed Ken's fortress and plundered everything, most unforgivably, his princess.

I'm not surprised Ken and Lorna were shocked when their daughter, Rachel's returned with the news that she has got married to Cuckoo and asking their son to move rooms because of the noise from Rachel's room was amusing and you knew buying him off would backfire

Rachel comparing her dad too Hitler was amusing as he was trying to lay down some ground and Dylan selling his vote to get Zoe to the party was sneaky but Zoe getting the wrong idea about Ken was priceless and the photos Dylan took were too much

No wonder no one had heard Connie sing but how Cuckoo managed to convince her to leave Steve and follow her childhood dream was bizarre and I cant believe she was offered a singing gig in a piazza place

Rachel and Cuckoo learning that their Thai wedding ceremony on the beach wasn't as legitimate as they believed was predictable and Ken seeing this as a chance to get rid of his son-in-law was amusing until Steve tried to sabotage it but Dylan saying he lost his virginity was priceless
