ELEMENTARY stars Jonny Lee Miller as detective Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson in a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD's most impossible cases. Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric Sherlock escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare - a sober companion, Dr. Watson. A successful surgeon until she lost a patient and her license three years ago, Watson views her current job as another opportunity to help people, as well as paying a penance. However, the restless Sherlock is nothing like her previous clients. He informs her that none of her expertise as an addiction specialist applies to him and he's devised his own post-rehab regimen - resuming his work as a police consultant in New York City. Watson has no choice but to accompany her irascible new charge on his jobs. But Sherlock finds her medical background helpful, and Watson realizes she has a knack for playing investigator. Sherlock's police contact, Capt. Tobias "Toby" Gregson (Aidan Quinn), knows from previous experience working with Scotland Yard that Sherlock is brilliant at closing cases, and welcomes him as part of the team. With the mischievous Sherlock Holmes now running free in New York solving crimes, it's simple deduction that he's going to need someone to keep him grounded, and it's elementary that it's a job for Watson.

The husband not knowing about the safe room was bizarre but him being the killer would of been to easy and Sherlock might of been a jerk interviewing the other victim but she was obviously not telling the whole truth, going to the opera to get Joan was amusing and her solving the case was great

The neighbour stealing from his dead neighbours apartment before calling the police was cold and what a great alibi getting the doctor to put her in what looked like a coma

Adam's immunity deal was impressive and killing one on his own was a great way to get him but only one was unfortunate

What a way for a secretary to clime the corporate ladder by killing her bosses competitor so when he moved up the ladder so did she but getting himself abducted was interesting

What a fluke Holmes was in the morgue when he spotted the suspicious death and the janitor getting his revenge in the lift by pushing the buttons was amusing, Carrie refusing to listen to Watson about the girl could of been fatal but the outcome of both cases was great

Sherlock's imposter father asking Watson about the sex was amusing but he was right all along about his father not turning up and planting the wrench in the garage was clever but there was no way anyone one the run would leave that amount of money behind and all those deaths just to cover up drug smuggling was sad

As soon as Sherlock received the text I know he was going to leave Watson behind and Watson visiting his old rehab center in order to learn more about him was interesting but I didn't expect him to shred the letters, Crewes waiting 13 years to get his son to do the murders using the same M.O. as the series of murders that took place back then was clever

The explosion that kills two people was interesting as it was designed to go off in 2008 but what a freak accident miss-dialling the pager on the bomb and Heather being the killer after seeing the video made sense

Sherlock solving the case while ill was interesting as the victim was the one who arranged his murder and framing the others which was impressive

Who would of thought some of the jury members on the original supposedly uncrackable bank vault robbery would use what they discovered to do it themselves

Sherlock taking Joan call girl spotting at the hotel was interesting and Joan taking her number afterwards was amusing and the daughter finding out both her parents were spy's would come as a shock and being caught by invisible ink was great

Sherlock being reunited with (M.) the British criminal was obvious he followed him to New York and I'm not surprised he had surveillance cameras but hidden in books was clever, Sherlock catching in the act thanks to the kid was great and hanging him up was ironic as that's what he does to his victims but stabbing him after what he said was a surprise, look like Joan is staying at her own expense

How long can Watson stay as Sherlock's companion without getting paid and how he got Harold Dresden to surrender was a mystery

Watson faces eviction from her apartment because her tenant used it to make porn films was disturbing especially using her kitchen utensils and Sherlock being forced to work alongside Kathryn Drummond was interesting as she was Martin Ennis's target all along

How ironic that the young woman being scared of the courier wanting to charge his phone could of stopped the kidnapping and some friend Rhys was suggesting Sherlock was a better detective when he was using drugs

The way Sherlock tried to encourages Joan to learn self-defense was amusing but I'm not surprised she retaliated and I had a felling Sherlock knew about Joan was not working for his father any more

I like the way Joan's deductive skills are getting better and sending her to the suspicious dry cleaning establishment was amusing

The murder on the subway platform was disturbing considering he gave her flowers first and the video that mentioned that murder from the woman who apparently left her husband was a strange coincidence but the poor woman in the subway being killed to try and cover up his wife's murder was diabolical

I have to admit that was a well planed robbery and an even better escape plan but shooting the guard being their down fall was great as he didn't die for nothing
