I think the issue is more that TV writers know that once they put a couple together that have had good chemistry it's often the death-knell of the show. The sexual tension is gone, and for some reason, people don't stick around for a relationship like they do for the "will they get together?" phase. That's why I think they won't be a couple until the show is definitely in it's last season. It's unfortunate, because, if well-written & acted, a relationship can be just as interesting (if not more) to explore and watch, as an audience.

Have we not seen the Angelator? I watch repeats regularly, as they air on a local channel, so I can't remember when we last saw it on the show.
