Please provide details.  To confirm the error, we need to know which season you are watching, which server you are using & where in the episode it freezes.  Thank you.

The two sites use completely different servers (VIP site offers 2 servers), so the overhaul of tv-video.net has nothing to do with any issues you may have with viptv.net.  Have you been able to acces the VIP site at all or is your problem with viewing shows?  If it's the latter, have you tried any of the suggestions in our VIP Help!!~ Real Player & Other Problems?? (Easy Tips & Fixes) thread?  If not, I suggest you do so, as the problem may be as simple as a need to update some of your RP settings.
