Meg, I really do wish you lots of luck and many years of happiness with your new husband.   Reading your posts made me remember when my husband and I first got married and setting up our first apartment together.

I have a cousin named Joyce and she had almost all of the symptoms that you have.  She was always sick.  I always felt sorry for her.  Some days she got pretty bad.  She was always going to the ER.  Once, they found that she had an enlarged heart.  The doctors could not figure out what was wrong with her.  Later in life after she had 3 children, she started to have female problems.  They got so bad that the doctors recommended that she have a full hysterectomy.  She went and had the operation and this is the weird part.  After she recovered from the surgery, she started feeling better.  Eventually all her symptoms disappeared.  The doctors couldn't explained it.  To this day she is doing great.

Barb, I am so sorry that you are not feeling well again.  You are so young to be going through all of this all the time.  I have nerve damage in my back and I am in constant pain. So, I know what you are going through.  Being sick or in pain every day gets to you emotionally. You know what I love about you. No matter how sick you are, you always are the kindness and sweetest person to everyone. I hope that you start feeling better real soon!

Not all North Americans are fat.  I do agree with you about Americans getting heavier.  It's not because of laziness.  People work just as hard as they use to but it's not a physical labor. They sit behind a desk and let computer's do the work for them.  It's a shame. We have machines to do the work for us.

Barb, try not to do too much.  You don't want to get worn down.  The kitchen is always the hardest to pack up. Thank God you have good friends that will help you with everything.

I can understand how you feel.  All winter I have been petrified of doing anything because of the nerve damage in my back.  I was always in so much pain.  I found a new doctor and he changed my pain medicine and what a difference it made.  Now at least I can do some house work and I can get along a lot better.  I lost a lot of muscle also.  A couple of weeks ago, I started feeling lousy and almost every joint in my body hurt so much I wanted to cry.  I couldn't figure out what was going on.  My daughter was combing my hair for me and she found a round rash on the back of my neck. Then I knew.  I had Lyme disease again. I live in a wooded area and the ticks were very bad this year.  I went to the doctors and he confirmed it, that I had Lyme again.  He put me on antibiotics and I am starting to feel better.
The last house I lived in had 2 bathrooms and when I moved here it only has 1 bathroom. Boy, do I miss that second bathroom.  The area that you are moving to, is it a lot colder than were you live now?  I know when your not feeling well the cold weather can make you feel even worse.  Good Luck in your new home.  I hope it brings you lots of joy and happiness.

I caught the Lyme disease  in time before it got too bad.  I have had Lyme so many times,I think I am going to start wearing one of those flea and tick collars they have for dogs and cats.    The first time I had the disease, the doctors said that I must of had it a long time before they finally figured out what was wrong with me.

The first time I must of caught it was years ago when Lyme was still new to the doctors.  I never had a rash then.  The doctors said the joint pain was just arthritis.I know what to look for now.  I had so much wrong with me then.  I had 4 surgeries in less than 3 years time.  Staph infections.  You name It, I had it.

Thank you so much for the information. I would never think you are being nosy.  It makes me feel good to know that you care enough to try and help me    I have tried Doxcycline and it makes me deathly sick.  I am taking Amoxicillan now.  The doctor said that it should work because I haven't had Lyme that long this time.  It must be working because I feel so much than I did a month ago.  The first time I had Lyme,  I finally had to go on intervenous antibiotics to get rid of it.   Thanks Granny

My daughter came home crying this morning with such heart breaking news, it broke my heart. Her fiance' went to the doctor's about 3 weeks ago because he was having a lot of lower leg pain.  They ran a lot of tests and found out that he has some form of rare cancer.  I don't know that much about it yet because she was so upset, I didn't want to upset her more by asking her a bunch of questions.  All I know is that the doctors don't know why the cancer is moving so fast.  They gave him less then a year to live.  He is so young.  I don't think he is even 40 years old yet.  The one thing I don't understand is that he looks so healthy.  I told my daughter that he is in God's hands now.  It's just so sad.

Thank you both!  I asked my daughter this morning about getting the second opinion and she said that they already have so many Cancer Specialists from Yale New Haven hospital working on this because of the cancer being so rare. I feel so sorry for my future son in-law's mother.  Less than a year ago, she lost her other son in a fatal car crash.

I want to thank everyone.  My future son in-law as an appointment on Monday with a Cancer specialist. He had a bunch of test taken and maybe we will be able to find out what exactly is going on when we get the results on Monday.  I hope that it is good news.  At least something that will give us at least a little bit of hope.

I just talked to my daughter and you were right.  She said that the doctor's said that the cancer was called CLEAR CELL SARCOMA.  I really don't understand the medical terms she used, but she said that he has all these turmors all over his body. I asked her why are they giving him all those chemo treatments if they said that there is no cure and they don't think he is going to live that long.  The treatments are making him deathly ill.  My daughter said that he was in a bad motorcycling accident years ago and he had some kind of surgery on his neck, something to do with the spine.  Right now he has one of the tumors near that area where he had the surgery and the doctors said that the tumor is growing bigger every day. The Dr. said that at the rate that it is growing, he will become paralized from the neck down if they can't get the tumor to shrink. They want to give him aggressive amounts of chemo  to prevent that from happening.  My daughter says that she doesn't want him to die but she doesn't want him suffering so much.  He is in so much pain.  I want to thank you for your concern.
