You have to make the most of the rounds with lots of diamonds to build up a good score ready for when you get rounds with low points available.

Yeah, that's true.I've got pretty good at avoiding those!
There are so many games I'm completely useless at though and I wonder how on earth people get such high scores! Paper plane is one I just can't get to grips with.
