Would that the modern police force investigated cases with such zeal as those investigating the death of Mr Green. It seems odd to pursue it when there is no actual evidence showing anyone from the abbey would have a reason to do him harm, (even though we the viewer know there is)and to stake out his London home so long after too. It does seem to be heading towards them blaming Anna too.
